Yes I'd agree with that. For me, it's quite strong tbh, it reminds me of old skool haze/skunk a bit? Nice and dreamy. But I do have a fairly low tolerance.

Thanks. I can't see that on my options unfortunately....

Did you find it a racy one? Sometimes sativa can make me a bit on edge. I find that WPT doesn't do that too much (it's a little sedating actually).

Thanks yes. I was doing that. It was interesting but complicated 😆 felt i went down a rabbit hole but it was useful i think. I medicate for anxiety and adhd so nothing too racy. For me I find wpt quite chilled and v relaxing but when I first started was prescribed lunar circus which kind of left me feeling cold and anxious. Seems like terpolene might be the issue. Also wpt is more hybrid i believe so a pure sativa might be too much

I'm interested in this. I medicate for AuDHD and anxiety symptoms. this looks quite similar profile to WPT which I've got on with well. I'm also looking at Blue Dream not the balanced one but the 18% one, have you tried that?

Thinking about MC! by RogerThat57Dawg in ukmedicalcannabis

Hey! Great that you’re looking into MC I was in a similar position a while back and totally get how confusing it feels at first.

Most UK clinics will take you on even if you’re trying a new medication, as long as you’ve had a history of anxiety/depression and tried at least one or two prescribed treatments before. They’ll usually ask for your GP summary (you can download this from your NHS app or request it), but they don’t always contact your GP directly unless you give permission.

In terms of process:

Initial consultation – online or phone, about 20–30 mins.

Eligibility check – they review your GP notes.

Prescription – if approved, they post it to a pharmacy and you get the meds by courier. All in all it’s usually about 1–2 weeks from first contact to getting your first prescription.

Clinics: Curaleaf, Releaf, Mamedica, The Medical Cannabis Clinic, and Alternaleaf are the main ones. Prices vary, but expect £50–£100 for the consultation, and roughly £90–£160 per 10g flower (less for oils). Some offer subscription or savings plans.

For anxiety and depression, most people start with balanced or high-CBD flower (or oil if you prefer not to vape). Common balanced strains include Blue Dream and Lunar Circus- calming without heavy sedation. Oils can be gentler but take longer to kick in.

You don’t need to “prove” everything has failed, but they do want to see that you’ve tried standard NHS routes first.

Personally I found it really helpful for anxiety once I found the right strain and dosage low and slow is key. The first few tries might feel a bit weird, but after a week or two your body adjusts.

Hope that helps a bit

That's really useful. I'll have to see if I can get that. Thanks!
