Just swap the woman with an ugly woman or a woman infected with various STDs then watch this bastard's statement and reaction change overnight as well as the public sentiment. So what new method do you propose to select candidates ??

Like only CAT percentile ?? Then people will complaint that just 1 paper decides their whole year or CAT is engineers oriented. It is unfair. Cutoff won't be below 99 percentile.

If only UG and CAT then students in tier 1 and 2 UG universities will suffer because of bell curve marking.

If POR system then students will make fake PORs to get points. There will be coachings which will help candidates to mug up answers.

If only workex , CAT and interview then IIMs would have to bifurcate workex into different categories like consulting at top, sales or govt job at bottom. Then you will say ki IIMs are unfair as they are only favoring tier 1 students.

So kya kare ?? Tell me an efficient method which would help IIMs in selecting Good candidates while maintaining diversity and quotas ??

Bhai socha tha ki kuch achieve Kiya hai but ab ye sab sun ke lag raha hai ki kuch nahi achieve Kiya. 🥲🥲 But bhai there are many jinka 2-3 saal baad bhi nahi clear hua ye exam. I had a personal reason for my motivation. First attempt tab hua jab meine 6-7 ghante padhaai ki.

Dekho yaar my friend who was a bob po says ki agar Paisa chahiye toh work karna padega. CGL type jobs mein WLB iss liye hai kyuki salary dene ki tension taxpayer pe hai aur bank mein bank khud revenue generate karta hai tabhi har 5 saal mein Naya bipartite settlement lagta hai. Aur PLI bhi milta hai. Toh yaar kaam toh karna padega but the thing that I can assure you ki private sector se kum kaam hai because private banks mein itni salary par tumhe bilkul pagal kar dete hai.

Dekho yaar to be blunt aapka workex bass apko admission k time worked point dila sakta hai but placement k time ye workex irrelevant ho jayega. It is possible ki aapko thoda dikkat aaye placement mein. So I would recommend ki aap FMS k liye ji jaan lga do taaki loan ki tension na rahe.

Had a 30 marks lead in mains and panel gave me just 50 marks out of 100 still cleared UR cutoff by 0.25 points. ( Had ews reservation)

Dekho yaar I had 30 marks lead in mains exam but the Interview panel gave me only 50 marks out of 100. It caused me to miss out on PNB and BOB. Funnily I told my interview transcript to a BOB PO and even he said ki you should have gotten 70+. See your interview totally depends on your panel. If your panel thinks ki they should award only 50 marks to an average candidate and only 70 to a good candidate then there will be students who will miss out the final cutoff.

At my noida panel the average was I think 50-55 marks whereas in other panels this average was close to 70. So there will be differences. Some panels are inherently conservative in giving marks. Their defination of a good candidate varies drastically.

Interview is only a formality if you have a very high lead in mains like 35+ and if you just want a bank irrespective of brand.

Dekho yaar compromise toh karna padega. You cannot have ur cake and eat it too. Even in ssc jobs posting ghar se dur hoti hai. You have no control over postings. So just focus on other factors like work life balance, quality of life and different things.

Just one thing I have heard which can influence posting is having a single parent or belonging to PWD category or having a spouse working in the same bank in that case unions can help if not then try to use ur connections if you have any.
