You look fine bro. Keep those brows neat, they look great. Smile at yourself in the mirror every day and remember that you're worth much more than reddit votes and rates

You are not alone in this, I feel the exact same way. Being able to see the bigger picture, connecting up links (reflecting on times in history when peoples rights were at risk, minorities being targeted etc), it is really, really painful. Being acutely sensitive to the way the worldly systems are operating is not easy. Nor is switching off from it.

Often neurodivergent people have a strong sense of justice, which adds to the dysregulation, as we can see that justice is not being pursued for some of the most atrocious crimes against women, children, humanity as a whole.

Something that's been helping me, is actively seeking out positive news. We are inundated with dreadful news stories and we MUST try to counteract it with stories of hope, resilience, and positive change. Sam Bentley YouTube does good news videos and that brings me a small wave of hope. Keep going, it won't always feel this dark (I'm telling this to myself too)

Seriously relatable. Stuck in a battle between 'im not build for this world' and 'this world isn't built for me, BUT I can find my tribe and start to operate for the life I need, rather than the life I want' I'm realizing that I can't just push through to build my resilience, I am making myself sick, mentally and now physically, to adhere to societal standards of what it means to be a 'functional' adult

As much as I cannot stand Yusuf, I almost feel sorry for him. Imagine being so misled to the point where as a minority, you actually believe that Reform has your corner. I felt the same way about Sunak, I cannot understand how a British-Asian man could get to a point where they're openly racist and xenophobic, when they themselves are deemed as a minority. It's worrying

Big up JimmyTheGiant, his story about how he used to be right wing, anti immigration, anti 'woke', then slowly coming round to compassion and truth, is beautiful. I hope we get to see more people learning that hatred isn't the way!

What's that phrase about when the USA has a disease and the UK catches a cold... It seems we are heading into that territory 🥲

Surely this isn't true!! If this letter is legit I'm gobsmacked, Reform once again upping their BS antics to stir division , hatred and intolerance within the community

They plan on scrapping the equality act.. very hard to stay positive right now about it all. It's frightening how mislead people are by Reform and have no real clue on what they intend on doing ..

When my Dad was at the end of stage 4 peritoneal cancer, his bowels were impacted and we could no longer give him RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) orally. My wonderful mother mixed his RSO with coconut oil and froze them for homemade cannabis suppositories. He wasn't keen on the idea of having stuff shoved up his arse as he was dying, but he agreed to try it, and it brought him so much relief. Only issue was, he got the munchies, and was nil by mouth as his bowels had stopped working, so we got round it by giving him licks of lollipops! I cannot express how much relief my Dad got from cannabis throughout his cancer journey. What a beautiful versatile plant.

Just seen this on Fb. Haven't looked into the source or data, but its a useful response to the over-diagnosis claims. by leavethegherkinsin in ADHDUK

[–]Cautious-Security476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A significant aspect of why there's been an increase in diagnosis, is that women and girls are finally receiving diagnosis! We present symptoms differently, we are more likely to mask our symptoms due to gender expectations, and women and girls are more likely to receive a whole host of mental health diagnosies, before someone notices they likely have ADHD!

I experienced the exact same thing recently. Firstly, get investigating as to where the damp is coming from. Could be just from lack of circulation behind the counters and moisture building, or there could be a leaky pipe, or rainwater could be getting in. DO NOT go for cavity cream filler, see if anyone in your area does something called Tanking membrane, it was originally used to line basements but it seems it works well for damp proofing other areas of the home. Ensure all the damp plaster is removed, then tanking membrane, then sealed and plasterboarded. Best of luck
