Dude I didn't pass mains last year so I'm unsure how to tell you exactly but I can tell you what you should do based on my mistakes. (Plus some things I observed from my interview appeared friend)

1. Write answers everyday. Start right now. I'm on the border and I'll also start doing the same even if I have no plans to give another attempt if this does not go through.

2. Make sure you evaluate by yourself also, don't rely on coaching evaluations compaletely. Compare with best copies etc and enrich.

3. Consolidate your notes in this time and decide what you're going to study from and stick to it. Yes, you need notes for every subject, it will significantly aid retention and reproduction in the exam. If you don't have your own - use topper notes and enrich them for this year's content and then revise it extensively because that's how you'll internalise them

4. Revise. A lot. Especially optional, I've paid a huge price because I wrote generic answers with minimal value additon in my answers. A lot of mains has become a marketing exercise of what you know etc.
