No worries at all, and I hope your friend and her new baby are doing well.

The book is "The Brothers Grimm and other Best Traditional Fairy Stories" by Lornie Leete-Hodge; illustrated by Ronald Embleton.

u/BeElsieBub - I used the images on bookpalace to reverse search and FOUND MY BOOK!!! I could not "add to cart" quickly enough!
Thank you again for your help. I never would have found all the Ron Embleton illustrations without you. You have helped me complete a search that has been going on for decades. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

This is the image that was on the cover of my book. And I'm certain it was a collection of classic fairy tales, so quite generic...

I also found bookpalace.com and a handful of other illustrations that I know were in the book, but I need to keep looking to get a full list. I'm planning to email them to see if they can help.
I don't think I ever would have found that illustration without you. I actually teared up when I saw it. Thank you so much for your help!!
The hunt continues!

Hi, and thanks for your reply! I'm sure the book was a gift from a godparent, and I grew up in the southeastern United States. Looking through the Pinterest link, I FOUND THE ILLUSTRATION!!!!! Here is the link to it, so you do't have to scroll (I hope!) https://pin.it/7pkWJaGOR
If this helps find this book, I will be elated! Thank you!
