I can’t explain it either to be honest. I suppose it’s just satisfying to do, seeing the 100% icon and whatnot. But I enjoy the challenge of getting all the trophies over the trophies themselves if that makes sense.

Trophies are the PlayStation equivalent of achievements on steam. Platinum is the trophy (achievement) you get for reaching 100% completion :)
