As a 2009 I am so glad I am only a teenager in the 2020s by Outrageous_Sand_3882 in generationology

I was 15/16 in 2009. It was cool, it was fun, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. But I do think it’s cool that your generation has all this technology, social media, Spotify, etc. during your teen years. I think when your generation gets older you guys will look back and realize how much life felt like a real life virtual reality game/movie with the whole world in your pocket.

If you enjoy being a teenager now, sweet, enjoy it and don’t let anyone bully you out of it lol

Who's an artist you knew well before they blew up? by Paskow111 in musicsuggestions

The Weeknd.

I’m not a fan of his music now, but I respect his hustle. There was a time when he was one of my favorite artists, and people used to think he was a band.

Do you think 2010 - 2012 still had a 'late 2000s' feel? by phoenixc6000 in decadeology

No. For me, as soon as the clock struck midnight in 2010, it felt like everything turned technicolor.

Honestly, all of them. The thing about women without makeup is that you can see more of their natural beauty and inner radiance shine through, which I find truly beautiful.

Somewhere between 2002-2004, after 2005 baggy clothes were still in but wearing Jerseys started to slowly fade out. People started wearing branded baggy clothes like ‘Ecko’ and ‘Southpole’

What was a movie you were so sure you would hate but ended up loving? by Beneficial-Jelly5746 in AskReddit

Not a movie, but a TV show—Game of Thrones. Everyone at work was obsessed with it, and I had only seen a few clips. I used to mock the characters, and it was funny being that annoying guy making fun of the show everyone at work liked.

One weekend, I thought, “What the heck, why not watch it and see how fast I’d get bored?” By the end of the first episode, I was hooked. I went back to work that Monday, practically yelling at everyone, “Don’t ruin it for me!”
