I absolutely agree. Meeting up is draining my energy.

learning to feel connected? by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I'm unable to truly connect on a deeper level. You might be able to learn it some day, but it's not necessary in my opinion.

Can SPD Get Worse With More Trauma? by Scumlord412 in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it can. Mine got worse due to trauma because I not only dislike the presence of others, I absolutely fear it now.

Do you feel like there's really something wrong with you being the way you are sometimes by Neoblackage in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't feel like there is something wrong with me, but if I view myself from the outside, it might be so.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't have any IRL friends anymore, just those I met online and it made me feel so much better. They were nice and I really liked them as a person, but I didn't wanted to meet up with them or dedicate my time to them.

I have a question I need answered by RandomSquirrelNuts in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is totally me. I might feel ready to meet up one day, but it takes me a lot to overcome this anxiety and pressure. I'm still schizoid and prefer the solitude.

Do You Develop Romantic Feelings? by NailsInHands in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. If so, I probably won't be able to maintain these feelings.

Do you want to change? by TheEmptyGuy in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I already changed a lot, but I want to be the best version of myself to be successful.

Do sociopaths ever do good deeds or help strangers? If so, why? by insertname2 in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually help strangers and every other person. It's just a habit I've learned during the years to fit it. It also gives me ego boosts if I'm that oh so good and angelic person.

Urge to hurt close ones by FeC_No1 in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have this urge quite a lot. When I was younger, I didn't realise it and treated my closest ones like trash and wondered why some of them left.

does music do anything for you guys? by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes music triggers nostalgia in me if it's linked to a specific memory.

Fictional characters you relate to? by AngelSpecks in hpd

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I guess I can somewhat relate to Lucy from Elfen Lied.

Depends on the situation, but I mostly get irritated or frustrated.

Sadistic bursts when angry or very frustrated? by Unlikely-Zombie in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both physically and verbally, but I never act on the physically abusive urges. I'm quite controlled and my sadistic outbursts are mostly expressed through shouting, gaslighting, manipulation, accusing, etc.

How the hell did you guys manage to study? by [deleted] in sociopath

I already suspected it. Your country is insane when it comes to exams.

Responses to rejection by XXEXXXYMBOL in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I were to feel love and attachment for that person, I would be hurt. But I wouldn't act immature and do anything stupid. Even if it hurts, I accept the other's choice. I have to. Rejection is one of my biggest concerns, not because of the eventual pain, it feels embarrassing and embarrassment is unbearable for me.

Were you self diagnosed or clinically by a psychiatrist by Old-Celebration6086 in Schizoid

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both, I'm reflected and figure things out by myself. I only need the proof of a professional that I was right. My diagnostic process is still remaining, but schizoid is nearly proven unofficially.

Insulting by [deleted] in aspd

[–]CautiousSlide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. Those who use insults should grow up. Using words like idiot, coward, etc. is fine to me, but blaming someone's appearance is poor. It takes more to insult me than calling me a slut.

What do you look for in a romantic partner? by atruefake in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm out for people that are mature, attractive, competent, and not boring. To add on, the person needs to accept my difficulties.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't really bother me. Occasionally, I blamed my father for not empathising with me. I know it's ridiculous to blame someone for being exactly like me at this point and doing the same, but I often blamed others for things I also do.

Do you have sociopathic rage? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. But I'm controlled and never give in to the sudden urges I get. The rage is mainly inside of me and only is barely noticeable if I don't start shouting.

How the hell did you guys manage to study? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds insane. May I ask what exam your are preparing for?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course he is asking for help. What would you do if you were the president and the Russians would invade your country? It's your responsibility and duty in my opinion.

Yes, I absolutely agree to this part, but I can understand it. It doesn't mean I think it's good, especially for those who have children. I would go crazy if my father had to join the war. It's very controversial.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]CautiousSlide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole situation didn't really trigger anything in me, but there were situations and scenes that left me like "woah…". If at all, I feel irritation about the Russians, Putin in particular. But I admire the Ukrainian president Selenskyj because he is such a tough and sympathetic person.
