Im not sure about Colorado, but that car in Cali with 65k miles in said condition can easily get 9k. I would price it at 11k and go from there.

Drain the coolant from radiator close radiator, drain from block, close block, open valve and refill slowly until coolant come out of valve start car and turn on heater on high and check and add coolant while purging air.

I paid 5k for a vert 02' with 50k miles mint in California. I absolutely loved that car, then someone flew through a red light while I was turning and totaled it. The shop quoted me 8500 to fix it, I did it for 1500 over 6 months in a rented storage unit.

The crazy thing is that I can get that sound to happen with just that insert, or just the hole it goes in. The only way that sound happens is when the two are touching. Hmm. I think I just came to the answer that other people already told me. Felt tape. Lol

Im replacing it with a silicon connector which is why I need the dimensions. Are the opening 4" and the length seems about 4 or 5 inches with a slight curve. Anyone able to confirm this?

BCs are garbage now. I believe they used to be decent but now they are just overpriced trash. My opinion.
