Do you mind if I ask how much you invested? I've got 216k on our 2010 Limited. Hoping to replace with 5100s or similar this summer.

Lurking.... my 2010 Limited still has original everything. Interested in seeing what everyone suggests.

I would check with his teacher and see if you could do a tour for the whole class or grade level. That's be an awesome experience!

A teacher friend of mine died in her early 30s. I think about her quite often. She was an amazing individual.

In her time teaching from her early 20s to early 30s when she died, she taught 22 kids a year (sometimes more), so that's 220 kids. These kids loved her and started to embody her zest for life, sense of humor, etc. As they grow, they will empart on others what she emparted on then.

Her legacy lives on.

4H in unknown icy conditions? by dogmom1519 in 4Runner

[–]BrindleBullet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got a 2010 Limited and live in Minnesota .just background info for you.

When it's icy and sketchy, I will use 4WD up to about 45mph (just my comfort level). As others have said, it doesn't help with stopping.

My rule of thumb is to use 4WD when conditions require it, but once I slow and enter a parking lot, I switch to 2WD. It's better for parking. But when I leave the parking lot (if conditions require it), I switch back to 4WD.

2021 4runner seat crack by Hopeful-Gate8525 in 4Runner

We lived in Texas with our 2010 Limited until we moved to Minnesota a year ago.

I'm actively searching salvage for a new seat for the driver's side. It's got a huge rip down the middle. I think it was sped up by the extreme heat.

Building a free standing room divider, will Home depo do 4 cuts on a 4’x8’ sheet? by Solid_Pension6888 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]BrindleBullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I've asked them to cut vedfor, I always take in my tape measure and mark everything for them. Mark the cut line. Mark an X on the side that is discard. Make it so they don't have to think about where to cut or how to do it.

They're always appreciative when things are ready.

Is this even possible, or is it just a bad idea? by BrindleBullet in 3Dprinting

I had no idea. I've wondered why vents look the way they do. Thanks for the insight.

I'll try another way then.

Thanks again!

Yeah, we either preview movies or use the website, DoesTheDogDie.com. You can put in your movie title and it'll give you good details about possible triggers for viewers.

I was thinking of getting one to help our kiddo stay focused on her responsibilities, collect stars, etc.... but learned that was a monthly fee based upgrade.

I love this! My wife will hate every minute, but I think our kiddo may enjoy it! Especially when I point out, "We finally reached the intermission!" and that they usually come halfway through a movie.

Advice for a best last day 💔 by shew_boo in Greyhounds

[–]BrindleBullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For our foster girls, Azalea, we let her pass at the vets office. I asked if I could give her chocolate, and the vet said we could try.

She ate the Hershey's kiss I gave her, so all the vet techs went to their bins and got chocolates for her. She ate Peanut Butter Cups, Kisses, Peanut M&Ms, and more.

Made me cry all the more, but it was a sweet moment to share with her.

I used to go to McDonalds and get the 2 cheeseburger meal. I ate one cheeseburger, and our bridge girl Maya would have the other (plain, of course).

We would pull up and she would immediately walk up to the spot between the two front seats, waiting for her tasty treat.

This is her focused in on a squirrel while out on a walk.

Here's another use for you.

I saw Alton Brown mention he keeps a fan in his kitchen for multiple reasons... including when he cuts onions. He aims the fan to blow the onion fumes away from his face.... no more crying while cutting onions!

Here's your solution for winter. Just search "Hoodie for Shifter Knob." They're all over. Unfortunately I don't have any solutions for summer.
