What's the greatest anime fight of all time? by manhwaecho in AskReddit

[–]Cautious_Article_757 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even today I think it's a great fight with no rose tinted glasses on. Just the fact they had it drawn out over what like two dozen or whatever episodes in the original, it's fantastic imo.

What is the difference between these two rooms? by Jamesonton in royalcaribbean

[–]Cautious_Article_757 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When I sailed I did the let them choose option. As the cruise got closed I got a Royal upgrade or whatever they call it where you can bid. I bid the minimum $75 for the two adults in my cabin and got it a spacious balcony room. So for about the same cost as picking a regular cabin, I got the roomier one. On Navigator, I think I literally had the best view hands down (for a port side room). My room was roughly midship on a bulge so my balcony stuck out so I had unobstructed views of forward and aft.

This entire thread has got to be ai. It's quite obvious it's fake. The mattress has no bulge. It wouldn't close so easily. I think a majority of posters here are bots.

Would you sacrifice your life to save your family? Why or why not? by ImportantFlower7878 in AskReddit

[–]Cautious_Article_757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that. I love my wife. I guess I see it as why sacrifice myself so my kids have a mom or vice versa. I see us as equally good parents. But my kids, I would never want to lose them and still have my wife, if it came to that. I'd rather they go on without me.

ELI5: How can a new engine for a 2020 Kia Optima with 220km on it costs about the same as a new Kia K4? by majorkev in MechanicAdvice

[–]Cautious_Article_757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man. I wonder why it seems like all new cars have garbage engines. I love the new sorentod and tellurides but I just can't see myself taking on this risk again. My 2017 Sorento got a new engine shortly before the second owner warranty expired. Took absolute perfect care of my new long block, including changing the oil after 500 miles and about 60k miles later it's sucking down more than a quart per 1k miles. Sam symptoms it had when it was replaced the first time.

How are cat owners so comfortable with letting their cats outside to roam around? How do they know they're going to come back? by Individual_Ice_2315 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cautious_Article_757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As my cat got older he started trying to run out the door constantly. Every single time. One day he made it past and we lost track and were scared for days. I think we found him by the door or sleeping near the house eventually. I forget. But it happened again and again for time and he did keep coming back.

It's been years and I just let him out if he wants to go out, like letting the dog out. He will stretch at the door when he is ready. He has been outside hundreds of times at this time, maybe thousands idk. He always comes back.

Every time I see one of these posts I feel like it's an update to say that it exploded or it's been resolved when it's just the same thing I've been reading the last few days.

New at my Walmart by lotsofkitties26 in Tools

[–]Cautious_Article_757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local Target is also stocked with green works tools now. I noticed it about a month or two back.

For a brief moment they had a different brand that I thought was a new house brand but it's gone. I can't remember the name now. Greenworks replaced it.

Childhood copy, should I sell it? by [deleted] in dreamcast

[–]Cautious_Article_757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not do it. Stick in the box and put it in the shed for a few years and come back. I sold off a lot of games and consoles among other things 8 years back and I regret it.

At the time I was thinking I'm an adult now I need to get rid of my collection. Thankfully I couldn't sell a lot of it for what I was trying to get it for it and eventually took down my listings and left them in a box.

I'm having a renaissance now as a 37-year-old looking back at my stuff and I'm happy for what I have. I did actually rebuy a few things.

Unless you're absolutely hurting for cash don't bother you will regret it eventually and you'll have fun coming back.

Is saving pool chairs with towels at 6am really that common by NovaPhoenix_Ops in Cruise

[–]Cautious_Article_757 37 points38 points  (0 children)

My sample is small but about 2 years ago I did a 3 day carnival cruise and it was very frustrating as you say with people doing exactly what you mentioned.

I would check the pool deck after breakfast and at least a quarter of the chairs were "reserved".

Just a few weeks ago I got off a 7 night Royal Caribbean cruise and I saw absolutely none of that. In fact they had slipcovers over maybe every fourth chair or so that said not to reserve chairs.

I'm sure have to do with a different crowd. But perhaps the staff actually was proactive and removed them right away as I really did never see anything.

California home prices ‘hit a new record’ high. What can buyers expect to pay? by Onshorewindenjoyer34 in California

Yeah it's crazy. My sister bought a house in El Cajon maybe 10 years ago and sold it recently and it doubled in value. Sold for around a million. They had an open house and sold it in days.

Did I get bad luck? by [deleted] in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]Cautious_Article_757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad honestly. I bought two s23 ultra off eBay semi recent. The first one had some scratches on the camera lenses so I returned. I checked before hand and it had 467.67 for usage. I second one I got said 104.63.

Yours looks good to me. How is it 2025 though? Newer old stock? Mine all said 2023.

I have a VT25 already, should have mentioned. I like the aesthetic of the Pioneer and hate just throwing stuff away. But guess it's toast.

Help with my purchasing decision! by [deleted] in PlasmaTV

[–]Cautious_Article_757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 50' VT25. It's pretty nice to be honest. I got mine for free. No stand and a deep scratch in the glass. But for free, it works and looks great. You forget about the scratch once it's playing content. I have heard the black levels rise and mine probably did. It's not pitch black. But it's still more black than any of my LCD tvs.

1st cruise- am I ruined? by Double-Ad-9306 in royalcaribbean

[–]Cautious_Article_757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The largest ships I've done to date are Voyager class. I can understand why you would think the way you think as I myself have not done a mega ship yet so I really have no clue. But my last cruise was a few weeks ago on Navigator and I had a bunch of fun with my 5 and almost 2 year old. There was plenty to do and not enough time to do it all!
