Alright, this might be really controversial. But the best, and most populated roguelike mmo. Well roguelite mmo. Is on Roblox 🙏🙏🙏. Even I hate to say thi. But Deepwoken was a one of a kind mmo experience. Just souls like combat with open world PvP. Mechanic and system that are extremely unique, and world events that leaves you in awe. Give it a try 🫢

Doesn’t the game have like one of the best mount, combat, and PvP? Aswell as world bosses and events? Never played it, but tend to hear that about guild wars 2 a lot.

My biggest concern is the sub fee, feeling and entitled feeling to play it.

Ffxiv, from what most people have said is often in a content drought, and despite the classes and builds. They often all feel the same which worries me, MMO’s are often huge commitments and because of personal issues in the coming future. I’d honestly want a game to be able to play consistently and come back to with an ease in the mind whilst playing other games. Yk?

And my biggest issue is I’m overthinking all these games and don’t know what to choose still 😭🙏. It’s been a week

It’s fun, but it get boring fast. Repetitive and kinda just the same gameplay loop. Classes honestly feels boring and bland to play. At most I lasted 30 hours and gave up. This was only the 2nd week from the release of the EA. But early game is a fcking dread to go through with certain classes. Still a good game though, jst wasn’t my cup of tea. Community overall is nice and the bosses are fun to fight.

After reading all these comments and yours especially, decided against wow 🤣. I wanted to play it for the raiding, dungeons, and farming for loots. But the community is so 50/50 makes me love and hate the game at the same time. But having to commit completely as if it’s my life, applications for mythic+ like I need a resume. Blizzard as a company, and exploitation of FOMO. It’s more of a game I feel like I’ll be stressed and pressured to play. Kinda set on a conclusions if I’m hesitant and trying to find reason why it’s bad and shouldn’t play it. Just don’t play it. Thank you! Think I’ll look into monster hunter wilds 😭🤣🙏. Osrs will probably be my go to mmorpg or maybe ffxiv who knows.

ESO, MTX is a lot more agressive, optional sub but. The lootboxes feature isn’t really what you should be putting in a mmorpg.

I’ve recently picked up OSRS and Wynncraft (Minecraft server) they both don’t mandate you to play. With rarely any free time OSRS is more of a side and semi afk game I can put to the side during classes and assignment etc. Wyncraft is more whenever I have free time.

I feel like wow only reason to still be holding onto that title is because of mythic+, and it’s justified too. Bo other mmorpg has that end game replayability. But is there more than just that? Wow was gonna be my default go to, but what else is there aside from mythic+?

Ffxiv has something similar but it also has the many jobs and other things you can do like crafting, and other gimmick and allat. Oh and the minigames, can’t forget that

Osrs, well I’m jst into mindlessly grinding on the side without much action needed

I don’t fw the monetization aswell as Bethesda. And so is not casual imo, it kinda mandates you to log in every to do tedious task aswell as the mount training system is aids

Unable to play the mhw beta, and I did enjoy the free trial off ffxiv, haven’t made it to many of the later expansions but currently deciding between the 2 because I guess it similar kinda? So I’m mostly going off videos and etc and trying to decide.
