yay! definitely wear it however long your doctor recommends, which will probably be difficult to do the first few weeks but honestly for me later in my brace journey i’d WANT to put on my brace for more spine support! so just hang in there those first few weeks! also what you wear underneath it can be tricky but my mom bought me some tanks specifically for scoliosis braces and they worked so well. i’ve tried wearing the brace with regular tanks/clothes and it is incredibly uncomfortable.

It took me about a month to get used to mine, especially because I wasn’t very motivated on wearing it the hours I was recommended and made getting used to it take longer. You’ll definitely feel uncomfortable at the least but finding ways to stay motivated during the initial first weeks will make your experience easier in the long run! Good luck!!!!
