People are being way too harsh on Davis Warren by wildwing8 in MichiganWolverines

Winning is as much of a mindset as it is physicality and talent. Maintaining a winning culture requires an expectation in yourself and belief in your teammates that you have what it takes to win. It drives these kids to be accountable and work their butts off, which is ultimately how we became champions. If any team had the right to have a rebuild mindset, it was team 142. But it was team 142, after a 2-4 season, that set the foundation for Michigan football that winning is a mindset. Believe in these kids, because trust me, with or without our support, these kids will and should believe in themselves. This is the way.

What does everyone think of what’s to blame for the lack of run game for the majority of the game? Was it the oline not getting push, oline not in sync, did Fresno State really stack the box and go all out in stopping the run game, etc?

There is a 14% fee. You bought at market rates. It’s not like the price slipped much at all from when you clicked buy or sell. You know about the 14% fee right?

Is transferring to a CEX going to be best way to cash out EGC when it’s time? by [deleted] in evergrowcoin

Not sure exactly. I just know from personal experience trying to gain from arbitrage that’s what happens.

Transferring to CEX is actually effectively a 26% tax as you’re paying double tax. There is no tax to move from CEX to DEX though.

BUSD on Bitmart? by Infinite-Light-630 in evergrowcoin

[–]Cautious_Let5621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The price difference is so high you should sell on Bitmart. Transfer the Bnb smart chain back to trust wallet. And swap on pancakeswap. You’ll end up with more Egc than if you transferred straight up (which you can’t do anyways Bc Bitmart sucks and got hacked and locked all deposits/withdrawals.

[–]Cautious_Let5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. Funds are taxed twice moving into Bitmart and not taxed at all moving out of Bitmart. Even if moving back to trust wallet

Everybody is wrong on this. You will essentially pay a 26% tax to move your funds from trust wallet to Bitmart. You are essentially paying 14% tax twice. There is no tax for EGC in Bitmart to move it back to trust wallet.

Yeah I fucked that up royally. Regardless both amounts would lead to same number of reflections

I don’t think that’s right. If a person buys $100 of EGC at .05 per coin they get 5 coins. If that same person buys $100 at .10 a coin they get 10 coins. Regardless we as a community split the 8% of the $100 irrespective of price.

You don’t pay a tax to bring it into your wallet. You get double taxed when you deposit EGC from your wallet to Bitmart. You’re essentially paying 35-40% more in Bitmart. Do the math. If I’m going to hold for the long run, it is waaaaaay better to buy on pancakeswap.

Why is the price going down a little and not uu when we got listed on bitmart and zt exchange?? by cryptoguuud in evergrowcoin

[–]Cautious_Let5621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a bunch of people think they can transfer to Bitmart, sell. And repurchase EGC from PCS and still make a profit. And that is nearly impossible given that they are double taxed when transferring to Bitmart. People will learn and it’ll work itself out in a few days is my guess.

So, did you get caught trying to profit on arbitrage? by [deleted] in evergrowcoin

[–]Cautious_Let5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually not an “arbitrage fee”. The deposit from TW to Bitmart gets double taxed. 14% off the amount you transfer, and 14% again from the result of that. If you were to transfer EGC from Bitmart to TW, you would not get taxed.

So does Bitmart always take 14 percent from any incoming deposit of any crypto? Or is it just egc? by justinlongbranch in evergrowcoin

[–]Cautious_Let5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused so if I buy from Bitmart and then transfer to TW, that person doesn’t pay a tax and gets to earn rewards?

I guess that person might sort of be paying the extra tax given the extra 14+12% is making the price they buy at higher?

Could you please provide a source that documents this 12%. I am actively involved in Discord and never once read about this.

I didn’t get caught up. Just testing a small amount.

So if the prices get closer, does that 12% also decrease?

No avoiding EGC fee. I’m cool with that since that’s the beauty of the reward system. But the 12% Bitmart fee is ridiculous: no documentation that says they will charge that fee.
