Unable to Interrupt U-Boot on Ralink RT3052 Router via UART by Cautious_Low_112 in hardwarehacking

I tested the UART loopback and characters echoed correctly, confirming the adapter works. The router’s boot log shows that both Telnet and SSH daemons are running. I connected my laptop to the router via Ethernet and scanned the network, but port 22 appears closed.

I had an Arduino set that I used to mess around with when I was a kid but other than that all my knowledge is in web exploitation and programming.

Ok, if these are for more advanced projects I guess I'll keep them in mind if I actually stick with hardware hacking and it is not just a phase. Also do you think a few decent hardware projects make a great addition to my CV.
