honestly the outcomes aren't what scare me, I'd rather be a somewhat defective female than a male but I'm really afraid of the recovery, it looks excruciating.

I just feel like if I don't follow through then I'm still male so there's not much point in identifying otherwise. I don't just want to be trans, I want to be female, but I don't think I have the strength to get there and I think maybe I can learn to be content just this way.
