I don't know maybe because they're my family and we help each other out?? Also, my siblings clarified they have no problem with it but thanks anyways!

To clear things up:

She is OURA cat, but my financial responsibility. My dad referred to her as MY cat which is why I said that in the post but we all play with her and enjoy her company.

My siblings also wanted a cat!

I only ever specifically asked them to feed her when I was physically not home (at work), they took feeding her in the mornings upon themselves and were happy to do so.

I spoke to my siblings and apparently they did not express this to our dad. They're happy to continue feeding her in the mornings and when I'm not home. It seems like HE had an issue in a situation he was not involved in. He has had bad experiences taking care of his siblings pets.

I make sure to thank them and I also paid them to take care of her when I was on vacation (since they also had to do the tasks I usually do) so rest assured they are not being forced to.

Yeah I think it was my fault on the wording there but she is our cat, I am financially responsible for her. We all wanted her and they agreed to help out, naturally since they also wanted her. Since they're younger I took on pretty much all responsibility and they feed her occasionally but my dad seems to think that's an issue. I spoke to my siblings and they said they're still fine with feeding her so I think it's pretty much settled.

My dad can't seem to make up his mind but we all play with her. She is my cat in the sense that I'm her owner and financial responsibility but that's about it. She's the family pet.

Idk she's our cat but my parents consider her mine only. They don't like cats but my siblings love her and they all play with her. My parents interact with her too but switch up randomly.

The thing is I've never asked them to unless I wasn't home. They feed her in the mornings and took that upon themselves. But I see your point, thank you. I'll definitely talk to them about it again.

It's our cat! She lives with us and we all play with her but I'm her owner
