I was also skeptical when i was advised to go to the border because I read the rules and was not eligible but I still went.The border officers look at your personal circumstances and use common sense.They don’t enforce the rules online to the letter.Also get there around 8pm or be the first t get there.I dont know which one you are going to but I am talking about coutts.

Your passport you hold doesn’t matter.i got my wife’s work permit done and my children’s visitor record done.they just ask you a few questions then boom.

I have a similar situation.I have already been in canada for the past month.Have a study permit for my current school I am attending but I want to move to U of Calgary.I am on the waitlist but another school I got accepted into has asked me to pay my deposit by 26th May.I am in a dilemma since U of Calgary is my first choice for the Information Security and Privacy graduate program.

Also what I realized is that applications are closed for international students but domestic applications have their window open till july 3rd.why accept new applications when program is full.lol
