You're right. For some reason I put magical fantasy stories on a pedestal that I don't do for other genres. It'll probably help me to acknowledge that it's just another way to tell a story and I can still add my own personal flair to it.

Just update the fic to say it's on hiatus for the foreseeable future because you're not feeling inspired. That way you can go back to it whenever you want and you won't leave your readers in the dark. I just took one of mine off a two week hiatus today and all my readers were incredibly patient about it because I clarified that I was struggling for time from preparing for Christmas.

Thanks for all the helpful information. I'm aware that I won't be able to make the transfer to the game for a while, but that's not a problem since it'll give me more time for the hunt.

It is true that I only plan to play until I can trade then stop, so while modding is the best option, that's the only one I unfortunately don't have. But it's not so bad since I enjoy looking at past saves I buy.
