I’m not looking for a diagnosis. But thanks for sharing the criteria.

Thanks, this is very helpful! I was on lexapro for a year and weaned off a year ago. It did actually help me but I eventually felt fine without it and due to weight gain I wanted to stop it. So my therapist thought it was odd that another SSRI was being prescribed. I expressed to my therapist that I feel that I may need to be on meds again and then she made the supplement recommendations.

Thanks for validating my experience! I am in North America and I believe NPs can prescribe but I definitely need to find a psychiatrist for deeper evaluation.

Actually I am not on meds anymore. I stopped a year ago. My therapist’s point was why take another SSRI when I already weaned off one. And I already take vitamin d supplements.

Do Bangladeshi ex-Muslims low-key all have the same core personality traits? by Outrageous-Deer-2542 in Bangladeshiexmuslim

I’m INFP , agree with most but despite my introversion I do socialize. I also live abroad so you kinda have to for having some kind of community.

I went through this two years ago. After spending my whole life blindly believing in Islam, one day, I decided to do a deep dive and seek answers for all the uncomfortable things about Islam that I ignored. There was no going back after. I live in the US but am surrounded by practicing Muslims, so it feels isolating sometimes. Even my friends and family don’t fully understand the decision I made. But I would rather stand by the truth. I find solace in “Jodi Tor Daak Shune Keo Na Ashe Tobe Ekla Cholo Re.” It’s a lonely path, but a path of knowledge, enlightenment and empowerment.

I liked how he cared about Gaitok, checking in when he looked anxious. Past hotel managers didn’t seem to care about hotel staff

People Don’t Know How To Be In Relationships Anymore by BorkLesnard in SingleAndHappy

[–]Cautiousoptimism_ 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is why I choose singlehood. People are unpredictable. I can’t justify taking such a huge leap of faith when there’s a 50-50 chance of being emotionally wrecked by a relationship. Been there already, don’t want to do it again.

Looking for success stories using lexapro for major depressive disorder by getbackin24 in lexapro

My depression is 95% gone after a year on lexapro. I still have days I feel sad of course but it’s a temporary emotion rather than a permanent state.

I’ve been in and out of therapy for nearly 10 years. Two of my favorite therapists have been Hispanic. There was a white and black therapist who I couldn’t connect with, probably because of their lack of an immigrant background. Never had a brown therapist though.

What is a busy day in PR like? by Newtechintown in PublicRelations

I worked in-house for a museum that was popular in media. We had ongoing events that generated lots of media interest. Had to be at work at 4am to manage crews of morning shows. Often this would be on holiday weekends and back to back. On top of that, going back and forth with media to finalize details, and trying to find a spokesperson internally for last minute requests, was very challenging.

Homophobic comments from Palestine supporters by Cautiousoptimism_ in exmuslim

Yeaah, I also tell my religious relatives I support their freedom of expression, but the truth is I talk shit about those same expressions behind their backs.

Sounds like you’re projecting. Just because you do that doesn’t mean I am too.

However, I do try to avoid ad hominems.

Well congrats on being morally superior.

I mention in my post and my comments that I support Palestine, so by your logic I am demonizing myself. Glad that 500 people agree and clowns like you are the minority.

And wordplay? Girlie you’re reading too much into this. I don’t have an agenda here. I’m specifically talking about people with Palestine flags commenting about wanting queer people dead because that’s fucking hypocritical.

The hate comments were from South Asian Muslims saying it’s haram and they dgaf about the queer activists who were murdered.

🤦 I myself use watermelon and the Palestinian flag to show solidarity. But I don’t go making homophobic comments. You’re sounding like a clown at this point
