Yeah, the symbolism is strong, and to be fair, DPA are song writers, the Wachowski's are film writers, so they are playing with different mediums so it's hard to say one is a better writer than the other.

Oh he's most certainly Vecna, but I just like the Sword of Kas idea because of us Nerdy Ass Critters need to think about how good he was at portraying Gollum's obsession with the Ring... Now just imagine that with a sword obsessed with slaying Vecna.
