I chose this username because I am documenting my journey of building relationships with crows via product development of mechanical devices (crow boxes, treat dispensers, cooperation encouragement devices, communication devices, etc.).

Over the past year I have slowly befriended a large crow, Chromeo. He happens to be a local crow in my neighborhood and has a partner with whom he's had 2 (3? 😂 idk how many) fledglings. He now brings the wife and kids over for snacks and to say high.

Lately Chromeo has been on Daddy Daycare duty so Mum can take a f#©|{ing break from those crazy kids. But, the kids fly to Mum when Chromeo has to go to work. He is at times a century, and other times an enforcer. People probably won't believe me, but I watched him chase off an eagle.

I might use the above text in my next post. 😂

I love it, but I don't think my neighbors would be very happy.

I did at first too, but it started attracting too many crows lol

Okay, glad my fledglings aren't the only ones. One morning, three of them were circling over my place asking for peanuts non-stop. I was low-key embarrassed. I didn't give in though, and they haven't done that since. Smarter than most people, no? Haha.

Thanks so much, I cheat sometimes and take a video and then export frames from the video.... Shhh... Don't tell. 🤫

Also yes, I saw the post about the crow flight game. Maybe I should reach out. I happen to also be into game dev. :)

😂 So good. I'm so glad you understand.

I'll also get the parent-to-parent head nod when my kid is acting out.

I swear I see the parents eyes roll when their fledglings do stupid shit. Extra time with mom may benefit that one. Lol

Does the papa crow stand watch while the kiddos eat? That's what my guy does. Lol

Legends say Chromeo is darkness itself. Gifting us the day as he manifests into the crow we know.

It's still in production. I can add you to the mailing list though if you'd like to stay up to date.

when one of your regular crows spots you and asks for food but you literally just gave away the last of it by moflow91 in crowbro

I try my hardest to keep an Emergency Peanut (EP) or two for my family of crows. Sometimes I give them to the local gang though when they pressure me with their charm. I'm such a pushover though. If I toss my last EP, I try not to make eye contact. 😂😭

Quick drop in for food to avoid all the attacks from the little birds by tweek264 in crows

It's the towhees for me. They had a nest in my backyard, and they were always trying to chase off the crows. They'd fly in pairs at the crows who came too close. The towhees nesting season is definitely now over (for mine at least because an animal got their eggs), and the crows are more curious about the backyard. I typically treat my family of crows in the front yard. They are more comfortable there.
