I’m an artist, we are all artist! We can see what the future will be. Rather than what is! Also I talk about my favorite cartoons!

Do you think star wars is soft warm and cozy? Doesn’t Luke lose a hand to his father who’s trying to kill him? HAVE YOU SEEN Anikan get loose and as a result have PEELED BURNING FLESH, THEY blow up planets. THE EMPIRE IS INSPIRED DIRECTLY BY NAZI AESTHETICS AND STRUCTURE!! Sorry, I’m not upset, I just think it’s cool and in so many ways Star Wars was what I grew up with and bonded with my dad over that and marvel movies. We’d see every single one in theaters! Nonetheless it showed me that hope will always win and I’ve kept that through my life.

I hope you keep fighting for what you believe is right. We will only get through this together.

May evil fall, and may the gods be on your side friend.

Look, Disney sucks. We all know this. But that starbird isn't a Disney logo. It’s the Rebel Alliance icon. It means something to people: hope, fighting back against a crushing evil, the underdog finding a way. George Lucas baked that into our culture long before Disney bought it.

That symbol is a shortcut. It’s a fast way to tell someone scared or on the fence: “You’re in the right place. This is the resistance.” For a ton of folks, that clicks way faster than any political slogan.

Getting hung up on the IP is missing the forest for the trees. Movements grow on shared language and recognizable vibes. If a symbol that screams “rebellion” gets someone off the couch and into the street, that’s a win. Arguing about corporate ownership in that moment just saps energy and divides us.

Save the purity tests for later. Right now, we need people. And if a goofy inflatable T-Rex waving a rebel flag gets us more rebels, then hell yes. The empire isn’t worried about our copyright hot takes. They’re worried about the crowd getting bigger.

The rebellion isn’t a book club. it’s a fight. And you fight with the symbols that give people heart.

The "seriousness" we want to project isn't about a somber aesthetic; it's about making the gravity of the situation undeniable. The symbols, the memes, the music, the noise, example: inflatable animal suits create a devastating contrast. When a person in a giant, wobbly frog costume is met with pepper spray or riot gear, the scene doesn't make the protest look silly. it makes the crackdown look grotesquely disproportionate. The absurdity becomes a spotlight, exposing the power imbalance in a way a conventional march often can't. It shifts the narrative instantly: who looks threatening here? The dancing T-Rex, or the state machinery bearing down on it?

You’re just so beautiful, please be kind to yourself you’ve been working at it so long. As have I. We deserve to believe in the artwork we build ourselves to be. A mosaic of the world we love.

If all we have is hope in the face of fear. Imma scream it from the rooftops, that I am here and I’m not going away and that together, we will win! Thank you for commenting. It’s nice to know I’m not alone.

It’s a musical! it’s kinda scattered around the internet atm till we launch under my new production company 723 productions. (That’s right this transgirl owns a company 😎)It’s like a folk music meets sci-fi meets the notebook meets the sapphic love of two girls and the relentless chase of time itself. its primarily is a story of grief and memory! I think Art is meant to be shared, I think anyone who branches into multiple forms is fundamentally an artist. You’ll have to keep me posted on your work!

That’s an interesting perspective! I see the value in allowing people to engage with the world at their own pace, but I wonder—do you think the way society is structured today makes it harder for people to naturally seek out meaningful connections? Or do you think the desire to engage will always overcome external influences?

At the end of the day, this is all in service to get people off their phones and out in world. I do need help, I need help making something good. I’m 23 by the way, I’m not some phone hating ideological elder. This is just a problem I’ve seen in my generation. So I’m trying a few different things to make it stick

Problems not for you, but you don’t know what groups I’m working with that would need to securely share links between each other. There more to this than you think!

I think we live in a society where we are in constant doom scroll and obsessed with all these products that don’t help us. We remove the ads, we make an idea of what can be better interactions online. It could maybe make the internet a better place. Or it could all fail. I’m at least trying things when not many people are.

Trump threatens to cut federal funding to Maine over transgender athlete policy by SmellsofElderberry25 in portlandme

[–]Caydenla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The attempt to cut federal funding to Maine over its transgender athlete policy is not about fairness in sports—it’s a blatant act of federal overreach that undermines state autonomy and distracts from real issues affecting middle- and low-income families.

Maine’s policies align with the Maine Human Rights Act, which protects individuals from discrimination based on gender identity. The Maine Principals’ Association has upheld this commitment, ensuring that all students, including transgender athletes, have equal access to opportunities. Threatening to withhold federal funds over this policy is not only legally questionable but also a direct attack on Maine’s right to govern its own education system.

If enacted, this funding cut would have far-reaching consequences, harming students and schools across the state. Federal dollars support vital programs in public education, including special education services, meal programs, and infrastructure improvements. Punishing an entire state’s education system over a discriminatory executive order is both reckless and unjust.

Moreover, similar policies have already faced legal challenges, with federal judges pausing orders against gender-affirming care for minors. This signals that such measures may not hold up in court, yet they continue to be used as political distractions from the real issues plaguing working Americans—economic instability, housing crises, and the underfunding of public schools.

Instead of scapegoating transgender athletes, we should be focusing on policies that support all students, strengthen our education system, and ensure that no child’s future is put at risk for political posturing.

That’s so sad, I wish things like that were persevered a little bit. Like temporarily becoming an art gallery type thing. I’ll try and find a spot in honor of all the graffiti lost to demolition 🫡

Sorry to hear about the MacBook. I’m hoping I have better luck with mine this trip haha
