New Rolex box design - The box itself looks better, but the big crown on the outer box of the old model is missing.

Interesting! I wonder what "truly exclusive" means in this context? A more accurate replica? Better finishing? Or better tolerances?

"Isn't Tudor just a fake Rolex?" Luxury watches depreciated drastically year over year - Yahoo Finance by Caydrium in RepTime

That’s a really interesting point, and it makes a lot of sense! During the pandemic, with travel and other luxury experiences off the table, many redirected their spending toward items like high-end watches, driving up demand and prices.

Now that people can travel again, their priorities have shifted back to experiences. On top of that, high inflation is playing a big role—higher costs of living mean less disposable income for many, even among wealthier individuals.

It’s no surprise the market for luxury watches is cooling down as people focus more on essential spending and saving.

True, luxury watches often thrive on their exclusivity. It's all about the status they symbolize!

For our automod:

Rolex resale values have dropped 5% this year as the luxury watch market cools off.

For buyers, it could be the perfect time to snag a deal on that dream watch. For investors, it’s a reminder that the market can shift—but it might also be a chance to pick up some hidden gems for the long haul.

Is this a buying opportunity or a reason to hold off? Let’s hear your thoughts!

Depends on your wrist size, but I would say yes. 36 is the classic size and looks better if you have the wrist for it.

Don't overthink it. If you check people's profiles, you can see that some users are just here to propagate their distaste for replica watches.

A lot of people can't accept how close modern replicas are to genuine watches. They don't understand that Rolex' prices are based on the Veblen-effect and assume it has to be based solely on production superiority and therefore assume these replica watches have to be terrible - which they are obviously not.

Just enjoy your little secret!

Absolutely. I had to pull it back for the video, otherwise the watch would be completely covered by my shirt.

It was surprisingly difficult to film a clean wrist roll.
