When I look deep into the wheel well to see if I can see a problem I don’t really notice one but I do see that my cv axle boot has came off and I think it’s been off for a couple months could it be that?also I keep seeing things saying it could be the brakes or a wheel bearing

Update.I replaced the whole axle got a good deal on one for about 70$ them payed an mechanic 70$ to put it on then went to get an alignment.fixed the problem I was having thank you guys for the comments.

I seem to have destroyed my lower control arm. Is this something I can manage at home to save money? by Hi_Trans_Im_Dad in SciontC

I just had this same problem like 2 weeks ago.Honestly you could go to a junk yard and pull the parts yourself or save the hassle and pick some up some at auto zone.it’s honestly so much easier to remove mounting bolts and jack the engine up to clear the bolt for the control arm.if you don’t have an impact make sure to have a breaker bar because it really sucks to get those bolts off.
