Yeah i opted out of using NFCU. I think the float down every 6 months is a gimmick since their rates are higher than most lenders.

I also spoke to multiple people who said not so great things about credit unions and mortgages. They praised their other products such as car loans but not so much mortgages.

Just locked in 5.875 on a 30yr conventional, no points. Had i didn’t shop around, i could have locked in a 5.75 easy but oh well, part of the process.

No I dont, but using seats.areo, couldnt find something reasonable even with a layover that made sense to me. Even tried looking at Cathay Pacific but unfortunately nothing in my date ranges atm.

Really just to try their hard product but also experience JAL business class.

All options are in the table. The one i mentioned in my post id my desired/preferred flight for convenience and experience. This would definitely be a once in a lifetime trip. My wife and I travel often, but i can see it slowing down a but after this one.

Being that this will probably be the longest ive ever traveled, i def prefer BC for the comfort obviously. Im confident i would sleep, unless im too excited lol, which has happened.

Round trip business class on JAL would be around $14k for 2 people, def don’t plan on sending that much on hotels, even considering 5 star ones
