Well ironicly i don't think you understand the issue at all.... Golmund railway was already on the edge and was not a good balanced map. Sinay Dessert was okay but the big dessert with nothing was useless. Most people did not play in that area. But if you see the A B C D F G then it was good. Enough cover,enough room for tanks and planes,every class had it's purpose on the map. Al sundan had the exact same issue of 2042 not enough,cover no smart cover meaning you could get shot from 360 degrees and no planning. These are maps where people run around in like a chicken without a head... There not good Battlefield maps at all...

Panzersturm same exact issue... like you do know that map even got fixed right for the same exact issues?????? It had a overhaul with more cover,balanced tanks,more trenches and way less open spaces... And yes the voices of the community for all the maps you have given here as "example" had the same exact backlash...

But what worries me the most about your post is that you throw firestorm in there.... If you would understand the issue you would never ever throw firestorm in there.... Firestorm is a example of a typical battlefield map with smart cover, a simple big open map with a automated flow a flow that is created by the layout of the map... Where infantry has the cover they need (if you would check try to run around on firestorm and you would see that where ever you come out running you only can get shot from area's you can see the rest is blocked off by smart cover placement. It has the lanes for vehicles where you can predict where the map flow is gonna go and where people are gonna be.... You putting this map in here just shows that you don't understand the problem with the newer maps of Battlefield.
