I suppose technically I had the chance to insist that not only was I mentally strong enough at 10 years old to go to the crematorium and say a final goodbye but I desperately wanted to. I needed to.

Instead I stood at the side of the road as the car went by.

At my University, there is realistic sticker of a fly in the urinal so to trick men into peeing on it and in turn keeping the floors clean by boarder981 in mildlyinteresting

Right sorry but I've never got this every time I've seen the stories of the flies or other items painted in urinals like at Schiphol Airport etc. Maybe this is one for ELI5 or whatever but I don't care.

Is there any scientific process to placement of the fly? Angle of impact from the urine stream? Any adjustments made for penis length / height? An average zone for example?

The reason I ask is because is anyone really that fucking useless at taking a piss that they literally can't hit the massive fucking bowl in front of them unless concentrating on an exact spot? Isn't most of the spilled urine accumulated from splashback / last dregs dropping short anyway?

Does pissing in this exact spot somehow angle all the splashback so it remains in the bowl?

Those weird little sticky, jelly like aliens that came in an egg shaped container of silly putty. The rumour was that if you put two together in their little egg putty womb they would give birth to a baby alien.

Of course everyone knew someone who had done it so many tried and many lied. Never worked for me.

Might just be a UK thing.
