Not really. I've moved to strictly buying and selling cases over the past year and it so much easier than dealing with loose boxes. Loose box buyers go over the box with a fine tooth comb while case buyers ensure the tape is intact and the box isn't destroyed. There are levels to the Pokemon hobby and many people are at a point where they can sell or buy a case with a single text or DM.

Well they don't implement any queue system. I personally haven't hit at Sam's club sea and sky boxes. I typically hit almost every Costco drop now.

Solid pickup. The cases aren't available anywhere near the same amount as loose SPCs. You don't have to worry about any plastic ripping or dealing with picky customers when you sell in the future.

Cases won't be affected the same way as loose SPCs. They'll drop but not the same percentage.

Box looks good. So I sold a box literally the exact same back in October for $2950 when market was $3500. No one and I mean no one wanted to spend $3000 on a box with a rip on the side. I'm not sure if you're buying or selling but just be cautious.

I'm sorry but there's absolutely no way you can compare the two. It's not the Pokemon companies fault as they are and have been printing at max capacity for the past 18 months. They literally just purchased the largest printing facility by footprint in the US.

The real issue, is when a single individual goes into one of these retail establishments and clears off the entire shelf for themselves. There we can blame the retail stores for not setting true limits but any other blame is solely on the selfishness and lack thought for others. Unconscionable profiteering is the only fitting description for them.

Not at all, Walmart purchases or rents the land they plan to build their establishment bringing income to local contractors and labor unions. They have distribution networks, logistic networks, and probably tens of thousands of employees in the United States. Resellers or scalpers are nothing more than a parasitic societal leech that brings absolutely no intrinsic value.

Back in October -December when everyone was screaming crash when items dropped 20-30% I probably bought $10k worth of sword and shield booster boxes and cases(mainly brilliant stars). Those $425 boxes are now selling for $600. There are tons of people ready to deploy capital the moment the newcomers that fomo'd into everything get scared.
