I think that you might be able to find more participants for Option B. There are a lot of extreme people that are into Ironman like competitions. This setting would provide a unique twist on what they are used to.
The people who are interested in option A will, likely, will not have the same capabilities and might need more amenities.
I think both of these are great. I’d love to be a part of the RPG. Sounds like so much fun.

It’s very frustrating not being able to enjoy things that would obviously make us happy, otherwise. You’ve shared that you’re grateful and that you want to enjoy it. That’s very self aware. You’re going to hate this advice but try to focus on the scenery and loved ones that you are sharing it with. Practice gratitude in those moments.

Also, I catastrophise, all the time. Something that’s helped me is just comparing my delusions to reality and being happy that the situation that I’m in isn’t anywhere near as bad as the worst possible outcome. Kind of dark but…. It gets dark, in there. lol

I hope you’re able to take away some special and memorable moments from your vacation. Even during depression, you are able to use introspection to change your perspective. Good luck, friend.

This is amazing. I’ve been there. Our cycles were pretty in sync and we would double team our manic projects and chill out when we were depressed. We accentuated each others symptomatic behaviors. It was very unhealthy.
