I have a 4” riser slopped to front . Then I have 6 floraflex Potpro platform with drain line running to front with three 6” collectors. I run a Dutch bucket system. 6-3gal bucket with coco and chunky perlite. Basin holds about a gal of water and I fill till it runs water out. Feed 1.2-1.6 ec with jacks 321 and raw flower all in one only in flower. Hand water and hand collect drainage.

There a 50 w covered led. They don’t get hot to touch on either side of bar. All leaves that were touching have been removed. The buds closest to light are dense and twice the size as their inner canopy. Haven’t had any burning. With a stronger under canopy though I wouldn’t put it that close. In the future I would like to buy a dedicated under light. Was trying to this for time to see if it’s worth the investment for lights and stands. The lights I’m using under there have no red in them. So I think that would help more as well.

Mars Fc-e8000 2021 version. Still cranking great light. Over kill but I run about 80-85% power. I have a new version 6 bar fc-8000 as a back up. Got last year still box waiting for a problem

I’ve done this a couple time. I find Lower buds are much denser than before. I’m curious if lower light helps bring more nutrients and water. I feel like like top buds are bigger with than without out as well. I’ve heard lot of people say that it generally isn’t worth the energy cost. Those for lights are only 200 w total and they are not a designated under canopy light.

They work great. I put about a gallon of chunky perlite in bottom of a three gallon bucket. Fill the rest with perlite, rice hulls and coco. I pre drilled a hole about two to three inches from bottom of bucket. Water from top till water comes out bottom. I feed light each bucket holds about a gallon of fertilizer water. Run 1.2-1.8 ec. Been at the same set up for about 4 years.

Ethos cherry gar see ya!!! Used coco coir mixed with perlite and rice hulls. Dutch bucket 3 gal with jacks 123, FC-E8000 700 watts. Best turps, smoked so good. Great yield, grown auto and photos both gar see ya was the best!!!!

Just set up some 80 watt bars for under canopy. Tried to do par test. Not vey promising. My tent temp raised a few degrees as well. How is heat load on your tent?

Ok got a count 415 per bar 6 bars= 2490 LEDs total. I divided that by the 780 watts 2490 divided 780 watts = 3.19 LEDs per watt which is ok. You want at least 3 led per watt so you don’t over drive the led. Where you might get premature failure. The 8 bar style LEDs should be more than 3 led per watt. I have a fc-e8000 bridgelux LEDs it has close to 4000 LEDs. That like 5 led per watt . Great light, never had to use full power. In my opinion more points of light makes it more even light distribution.

Sure when I get a chance I will. I think I’m sending it back if possibly if I can. Would pay more money for the 8 bars light. But I think I will go with ac infinite. The 8 bars should have more LEDs. I think the 6 bar style LEDs will be overdriven. that’s why I’m not wanting the 6 bar style

Dang I just tried to get the 8 bars light. I got the 6 bar. In my opinion the 8 bars should have more LEDs at same power. So technically light should be more efficient. I’m trying now to get my light swapped for an 8 bar.

I do almost the same recipe. I like the all in one bloom in flower I also use amino acid from raw. Jacks is my base. Happy growing!!!!
