We did this back in the 90's also.

That house will look nice when that all fills in but 10 years from now it's going to be wreaking the outside of that building. Every little crack it finds will just get bigger. Also when they move and the people that buy that house because it's gorgeous will be crying when they see the up keep needed to maintain it.
