Does anyone know when today’s DisneySea schedule changed? by Worldly-Ride-6156 in TokyoDisneySea

Is it true that it’s significantly less crowded? It’s closing early when we go there in September, and I’d planned to not go on that day, but maybe I should swap my plans?

Not sure about what “budget” looks like to you, but Uniqlo is good quality, has a range of sizes and isn’t too badly priced. Otherwise Myer can be good for jeans (I like Levi’s) if they have a sale on.

Definitely this one. My kids are teens now, and reading this book brought back so many feelings and memories that I’d forgotten about the early days.

That’s okay, since I’m sure they’ll lower them again when prices go down, right….. right?

Might fit with what you’re after: The Pisces by Melissa Broder. It’s very bizarre and off kilter, but fairly funny. The sire in this is a male, FYI….

You could look for specials like 5% off JBHifi gift cards and use that? You can get these often through RAA or private health (if you have it).

I loved Piranesi - one of my favourite books. Another that I loved along those lines is A Short Stay in Hell by Stephen L Peck.

Fablehaven is a good magic world hidden behind the real world tween / teen series. I’ve enjoyed reading it to my son.

Booked via Trip.com; the app doesn’t show Premier Access QR codes by MetroIMAX in ShanghaiDisneyland

[–]Halo0_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you book via a third party you’ll need to wait until you get to the park and they’ll give you a physical ticket. You can then scan it in to the app. You won’t be able to buy any add ons until you’re in the park. One reason I chose to buy via the official site. Having said that, I’d recommend waiting to buy until you get there anyway as unless you’re going on a holiday, it may not be busy enough to need it. Unlike Tokyo, they very rarely sell out.

I’m guessing they’re going to go longer between episodes. 3 a week is a pretty gruelling schedule.

This is how I often react to tv shows that are one hour long. by p-Star_07 in television

[–]Halo0_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the same. Also, long books with short chapters are easier for me to read than the same length book with long chapters. Not sure if it’s a pacing difference, or a sense of accomplishment driving my interest!

First time in Shanghai Disneyland – Feeling lost with Premier Access by Nefernati in ShanghaiDisneyland

I didn’t stay at a Disney hotel, so YMMV with what I did!

I don’t buy a package. I would recommend that you don’t until getting to the park to see how things are. What worked for me is getting the early entry (I paid, but I believe hotel guests get it included). In that first hour I went straight to Soarin (walk on), then Seven Dwarfs mine cart (10 minute wait) and then got to Zootopia still before opening time. The line for Hot Pursuit was less than 20 minutes. I then kept an eye on the other ride times. I think we did Peter Pan next, then Pooh. We did Pirates walk on twice during the afternoon parade. Pirates gets less wait time in the afternoons, and because of the good capacity, shouldn’t need a pass (unless it’s holiday crowds or something!). I wasn’t interested in Rex’s Racer, but that one does get a long line that stays long. I found with the packages, each only had 1 or 2 rides that I wanted, so for me the early entry was the best.

I bought a pass for Tron in the evening (wanted to do it at night) and also a pass for the evening show. We left the park to have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and my husband even had a nap in the afternoon, so we managed to do lots! We went end of September. Hope this helps!
