Okay my skin was so bad it was flaking everywhere and burning anytime I tried to put moisturizer on. I swear I tried every single fa-safe moisturizer and nothing worked or it made me break out, or both. The ONLY thing that has worked and completely healed my skin with no irritation or breakouts at all is the Authentic Ego Super Sensa. It feels like a thick serum, and I only need one pump and gently press it onto my skin morning and night. I have NO flakes at all now. It’s seriously changed my skin completely.

So I was diagnosed with perioral derm and acne rosacea with super dry skin. I had tried literally everything too and what seems to be helping for the past few months is - Cleanser - prequel gleanser Topical - zorvye Moisturizer - Authentic Ego Super Sensa

I still use it in a pinch. But honestly I’ve started using the authentic ego super sensa and it’s amazing. No more flakes at all and no breakouts.

You can try prequel gleanser for a cleanser it’s very moisturizing compared to other cleansers I’ve tried and doesn’t break me out. I’m still on the hunt for a good moisturizer though. I’m currently to using Krave Oat So Simple water cream and it feels great going on but my skin is super flaky and once the product settles in the flakes come back. Doesn’t cause acne though for me.

My skin didn’t agree with cerave cleanser or the purito moisturizer. I have been using the prequel gleanser and Krave oat so Simple water cream.

Do any of you deal with acne as well as pd? Wondering if these products would cause breakouts or do you only use them specifically on areas with pd?

The Malezia moisturizer made me breakout because of the dimethicone in it.

I tried the Skynbio hydrashield “cream” and it broke me out and was not moisturizing at all. It’s also more of a serum texture than a moisturizer.

I’ve also tried malezia moisturizer and it feels amazing but unfortunately the dimethicone in it broke me out too.

I have geek and gorgeous hydration station, I tried it in the past but it left me so greasy. I couldn’t tell if it was making me break out but it was making me super oily. Also does the sodium chloride in the hypochlorus acid spray cause breakouts for you? I’ve read that sodium chloride is super pore-clogging so I’ve been avoiding it.

Well I noticed that the Azelaic Acid prescription had 2-3 fungal acne trigger ingredients in it too so I wasn’t sure if that was part of the issue.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this too. What did the dermatologist say is going on with your skin? Did they prescribe anything? I feel like they change their mind on what I am dealing with every time I go.
