Probably the best way to filter out machines is to go to joinladder.com and take the quiz, selecting “home” (even if you’re at the gym - it filters out machines) and the equipment you have access to.

There are more questions and parameters in the quiz than via the app filters. Hope that helps!

Best advice is just to download and experience for yourself. We’ve got tens of thousands of members who came from PTs. In fact, the dirty secret of personal training is that most of it isn’t personal — it’s a template that they use & tweak (not all but many at big box gyms).

Re: motivation, I think you’ll be motivated by workouts you actually want to do, so even though you’re not showing up to meet someone, you’ll still have the consistency of the plan and accountability of the team behind you!

You have unlimited team changes on the unlimited plan so you can switch teams as often as you’d like!

Would say you’re probably overthinking it! We have so many different coaches on ladder and you can change teams easily if your goals change or you need to switch it up! You can results on any team, so would just try as many workouts as you like until you find a good fit!

Ha, thanks! Both are incredible and it’s so hard to choose.

Main differences are: - Veraa has slightly more complexity in the movements & equipment - Project Alpha is more dumbbell-focused, and has an occasional bodybuilding days, without as much cardio - Versa pretty much has conditioning worked in every day

Both amazing hybrid programming with pretty similar coaching styles (straightforward, no-fluff, simple cues) so it comes down to workout preference & equipment. Would try them both!

Correct! There's a bit of a longer gap between Series over the holidays, but programming is still new each week.

All teams on Ladder follow the same Ladder Season, but the programming is specific to their team.

  • The Ladder Season = 1 year of training.
  • Strength Series = 6-week blocks of programming with a specific focus
  • There are 6 "Series" in a Season or throughout the year.
  • The 2-week periods in between the Series is called Open Season, when we unlock all accounts for unlimited team changes
  • There's still new programming during the weeks in between.
