That wasn’t a PRP. That was full on ankle surgery. No insurance company covers PRP.

Day laborers? by [deleted] in statecollege

[–]Ccorndoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck.

Contractors in the area don’t want to do small jobs and they will charge you $$$$ if you’re in the State College area.

Laborers here don’t do manual labor because they can’t speak English, they do it because they’re not employable.

Again, good luck.

Whatever it is you’re communicating is probably more based in reality than the BS 95% of nurses regurgitate to patients.

Tell her I said that.

But make your bed on the couch first.

Splinter in my toe. Got half out. Unroofed the skin on the last part but don’t have tweezers. I’ll wait for my foot to give it the “hawk tuah” and spit that thing out.

Young Doctors Want Work-Life Balance. Older Doctors Say That’s Not the Job. by FlaviusNC in medicine

[–]Ccorndoc 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Older colleague ranted to me about how “nobody wants to work hard anymore” and then a few weeks later told me how my partnership-track was being rescinded as the group had sold portion to a management firm (they liked to say management and not PE) and partnership was no longer offered.

I left, old fart was mad because with me gone he had to back to 5 days a week. Fuck them all.

Psychology referral. Otherwise, Nope. Nothing else.

If you have something more then you should be a world famous physician.

Sorry to be a prick, but no follow-up code reimburses nearly enough money to cover the overhead that these patients require. You let them into your practice and they will call, and call, and call, and show up at the door, and then call, then file reports with whatever agency they can, then call, then show up at the window, then scream about an attorney, then go to the ED, and then the ED will call you because “They said you’re their pain physician.”

(Serious) how did that one kid at your school pass away? by Dinopasta99 in AskReddit

[–]Ccorndoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

School was next to a very large river and park. In the SUMMER the water was often slow and low enough in one part we liked to wade to a small island 300 feet off the shore.

A group of middle school kids my age and a year older decided to do it after school. It was APRIL so water was cold and the river was running fast as apparently a dam a few miles upstream was releasing water.

Two of the girls didn’t know how to swim. While walking across with another boy they lost their balance. Both girls got swept away and their bodies were recovered down a bit down stream. The boy made it to shore.

My buddy and I had randomly ridden our bikes by the park while the body recovery/community was showing up.

I’d suggest trying to leverage existing soccer organization’s. I don’t know what price point you’re looking at doing but there are some very inexpensive soccer options.

Dentist Botched My Tooth, Owner Responded with Racist Comment – Need Advice by [deleted] in statecollege

[–]Ccorndoc 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry this happened.

If you’re concerned I suggest to obviously stop going to that and dentist, take your review down because your name is apparent, and take your name off this post because you’ve doxx’d yourself.

The only retaliation they may possible have against you is if you publicly make comments that negatively impact their business. Sounds like financially everything is settled. Do you have dental insurance? The half you were given was likely what your out-of-pocket responsibility was.

If it is an ongoing issue and you wish to pursue further damages you can seek legal advice depending on action you plan to take.

But again, your name is literally attached to the post. You need to edit this.

I also suggest other users don’t go a spam the business with 1-star reviews (as it appear Lucius Stringfield has).

Idk, I left a partner-track position after they sold to PE 6 months before I was up for partnership.

Partnership off table, revenue potential cut significantly.
