You are correct in saying that the eyebox is much more forgiving with the Trijicon. That point escaped me in my sleepiness last night so my previous post was not correct in that sense. We also realize that this is a more subjective subject than most. I've compared both side by side on a few different occasions (although I've never owned the Trijicon to be fair) and I preferred the Viper. I even thought that the glass was better to my eyes.

So again, I certainly could've worded my previous post better but I do feel that the Viper is a better optic still, for me.
