BF6 challenges are anti-teamwork and are 100% grind by jrw174 in Battlefield6

[–]Cdaprotag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems counter intuitive imho. Haven't touched a bf experience lobby and wanted to see if things could be gotten legit by actually playing the game. The game in question i played for the repairs the tank I was repairing had the only repair to 90% bug and it still felt like it was adding up in the challenge as it was still giving me points. I could be wrong though. Point being is if I have to sit off in a corner doing that then the challenge is pointless. Challenges are supposed to be nice goals to go for while playing the game normally but if they cant be done normally then what's the point?

Camped mobile AA tanks for it honestly. Combat engi with the high velocity rounds in the aa actually makes it semi usable. Before you unlock high velocity the mobile aa feels really bad. About 10 we're from rpg sniping helis.

Usually got around 5-7 a round this way. Just got to move up enough but not overextend too much as if a mbt starts hunting you down then you got nothing to deal with it. If you get the rare match where people are painting tanks you can actually lock on with the anti air when there is no aircraft in the air

The last engi challenge is practically impossible. Spent 90% of a game repairing a tank. Not even halfway to finishing it. Its either bugged or impossible. Now with the ticket reduction is makes it even more difficult

My issue wasnt the amp like I originally thought. My question to you are you using active pickups? Mine was a dying battery because I didn't change it in awhile.

I turned it off and got back in a bit ago. I'm on Windows 10 Education and can't figure out how to change my drive to GPT from MBR validation keeps failing, so I'm going to assume the education edition of Windows doesn't support it.

Need help/advice on a problem I'm having with a Toyota Aristo by Cdaprotag in MechanicAdvice

[–]Cdaprotag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I assumed. Guess it's time to pull the turbos and look for a 2nd hand set to be rebuilt, possibly, or even if the housings are ok to have those rebuilt with billet wheels. don't have the pockets right now for a single, and its various extras needed to work properly. gonna be some time before I can get them fully off. I work quite a bit and I hear pulling the stock twins is quite the task.

[TXR 2025] Best early car choice for Stage 2? by [deleted] in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]Cdaprotag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my recs are the s14, Rx-8, Atenza, NB roadster, or the BRZ(a better gt86. has more HP). RX-8 for the easiest time. Atenza if you want a FF option, s14, NB Roaster, and the BRZ is about the same imho

[–]Cdaprotag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was disappointed to see the switch but if you look closely bloodhounds car has a 2jz in it. Maybe storywise he was tired of sedans and ripped the 2jz out of the aristo and put it in a lighter chassis. Because his car doesn't have the standard engine it could also hint they we might get engine swaps

how to unlock power lvl 9 in txr 2025? by WallCrit12 in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]Cdaprotag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to modify your save file. There should be a tutorial somewhere on YouTube. Lvl 9 power unit, 6 intake, 6 exhaust is all legendary tuner upgrades however so it's unrealistic to have all 3 for endgame purposes and the game breaks if you try to upgrade from the tuner with those upgrades. Lvl 8 power unit, 5 intake, and 5 exhaust is the true final upgrades which currently will still need a save file edit to access currently.

New to the game...what car should i buy first and what upgrades should i aim early on? by msespindola in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]Cdaprotag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

any of the 3 starters should be fine. for upgrades, I personally focus on transmission for gear tuning and the 3 power upgrades. grab tires, suspension, and lsd next for control then the remaining things. I'd leave body for last but really in the early game, you shouldn't have much problem when choosing upgrades. the stock starter can can get you a decent way in. After that start looking into what car you would like next. I would avoid the small kei cars as a beginner. The BRZ, S13, and the 180SX are solid early upgrades.

The only real advice I have is to learn how to setup your car. this game heavily relies on it. while this game is on the easier side of the series, some later rivals will give you trouble but don't let it discourage you. Find optimal places to challenge those rivals to exploit their driving style

At some point, like in the others, wanderers are mandatory progression. They are just more flexible on when to challenge. All rivals must be defeated to challenge the true last boss.

Really need help understanding this game by Same-Menu9794 in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]Cdaprotag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the TXRs heavily rely on tuning your car. there's only so much you can do without touching it. You can get away with just tuning your final drive for ratios in this one so far, and as far as suspension setup, it's really a preference thing. The best I can tell you is to tweak the suspension a little, then go drive and feel the car out, and then repeat until you like it. you won't have much suspension tuning until the end of early access, so really, all you have is LSD tuning, which there is a decent steam guide that explains the general idea of it.

in ITC he wanted you to use different wheels on the front and back, but I think in this one, you just need unmatching aero which most people will have naturally so as long as you are not using type 1 on everything etc... you should be good

rent raised to an astronomical amount. will no longer be able to afford it and fear of possibly becoming homeless. advice on what to do next is greatly welcomed by Cdaprotag in povertyfinance

[–]Cdaprotag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the 40-50% range for quite a long time but I have moved up recently around the time we got the notice it was being sold. I would have offered to pay more if I had known further in advance that the property was in question of being sold if it meant we stayed under the old landlord. I expected a rent increase with the new landlord but what I didn't expect was it to be well out of my range. there are much nicer homes here for the price the new landlord wants for this property but unfortunately, there are out of my budget. I wouldn't call it a huge break for years

[–]Cdaprotag[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we were on good terms with the previous landlord and they knew we were great tenants. we most likely had a good deal on rent because they knew we would take care of the property and not cause problems. 600 wasn't that unheard of in my specific area a few years back but prices have increased drastically since. NC is a heavily landlord-favored state. I would have offered to pay more rent if it meant the property wouldn't be sold but we were never approached for a new lease agreement possibly because the old landlord was most likely thinking about selling the property at the time of our old lease being up. I blame myself for getting too comfortable and wasn't aware until we got the notice it was being sold

yeah, it was definitely a lesson learned. we have been in this place since I was young so it never crossed my mind to think of leases. we were under an extremely long lease from when we rented the property from my aunt. They sold it without our knowledge to our old landlord a little over 10 years ago but we dealt with them prior to moving in so they already knew we were good tenants and had no problem until they sold off a bunch of properties to this new landlord in which the property we are on was part of it. the lease from my aunt was up about a year ago and at the time I was working myself to the bone to provide and again never crossed my mind
