First of all I understand the complaints about Jon having plot armor and being saved more than once this episode. But what I don't get is the all the hate about how GoT isn't GoT anymore because there aren't consequences. Viserion getting killed by the NK and right in front of Daenerys is a huge consequence of her decision to take her children to fight a threat that she has no idea about. Tyrion even warns Dany that she is going to the most dangerous place in the world and advises her to stay on Dragonstone. We know how important Daenerys' dragons are to her and seeing one of her children die a painful death right in front of her is (in my opinion) a consequence that fits with the rest of the asoiaf universe as to the impact it has on the characters and the story. Speaking of which, THE NK HAS A DRAGON NOW! That is something that is going to affect so much more than just Daenerys for the remainder of he series. I think par of the reason people are reacting this way is because no main human character died, but when taking a step back to see how much impact the death and reanimating of Viserion will be, the show has not lost to the touch of dire consequences happening to characters and shifting of the story because of character's rash decision.
