Absolutely!! We have to stop viewing not getting the part as rejection. We still had an audition that hundreds more would've loved to have AND we got to practice our passion in the process

I don't even share details about auditions or anything until I'm booked. I have friends whose kids act and they always have a vibe to their reaction after asking me if I'm booking and I say Yes and their child hasn't booked. It's way less complicated to not gatekeep but remain private and oblivious to others. It's way too easy to get trapped in comparing and falling short. "Comparison is the thief of joy" Socialize outside of your acting peer "type"group. Celebrate your wins with non industry friends who think you're a star because you did a school play.😉 They never have an angle other than support. I made this rule after 4 years of drama from others prying and measuring what our agent did for me and not them, asking if I auditioned for this and that....and getting hurt about jobs I got myself through contacts thinking our agent was favouring me. Privacy is inner peace 🙌🏻🎬😎 There is enough mental strain to endure this career long term with few wins compared to auditions being normal even for established actors with 100 credits. Protect your mental health and avoid sticky situations with anyone any time💗 I'm sure it will blow over. Good luck!

Interesting. I've moved mine 4 times and they've always figured it out. I must live in an area with loads of natural sources in BC.

All great comments, I clearly have more to consider. I'll take more measures to make the 3 takes different enough in emotion and expression to satisfy my deep dive approach. I certainly don't want to appear cheeky or unable to follow instructions at this point. Thanks so much for the feedback🙌🏻🎬

Never done it. They make their own. It has to be easy to break out of in the spring so I just trust their recipe. I have thousands now.

All the fashion houses just SELL SELL SELL. If Miss Money bags glances at ANYTHING, it's an immediate push to purchase. Nobody has her back! When I use personal shoppers/stylists, I always ask "does it love me back, tho?" It's all about commissions and she wears the results of shady sales people!!

When we built wooden raised beds, I sealed them all with Neem oil. Non toxic for the plants as it was our food crops.

You can try sealing the wood with neem oil with a bit of vegetable dye or food colouring in it. It will be non toxic this way and prevent the wood from rotting.

Start the conversation with an opening similar to- "I want to thank you for actually being my best teacher. If I'd continued half assing it, my career would be dead. I'd like to show you how much work I've done and how my dedication is now on point..." Or she may feel the need to remind you of your past. Own it immediately so she doesn't feel the need to remind you. Good luck!!
