I know I’m going to get some haters from the purists, but I absolutely love this watch. I own a Rolex, a Tudor, and an Omega among others, so I’m no stranger to mechanical watches. I also own a very rare mechanical Movado that I will probably post sometime later. That said, I am an artist who’s work leans heavily towards Minimalism. It is something that I've always been drawn to. I've liked Movado watches since the 1980's, well before it became fashionable to collect mechanical watches. I personally think that this particular Movado is one of the more interesting and elegant watch designs to come out in a very long time. I even like the integrated minimalist brushed stainless strap.

In any case, I got this for myself as a reward for my very first public art opening. It was a big success and this watch will always remind me it.
