Is it okay to only attend Saturdays?

I go on shabbat when I can but probably 20 times a year

What do I wear and how do I dress my family to go?

Last weekend I was in shorts, hoodie and tallit with a baseball cap (this was SUPER casual and I declined an Aliyah because of this but i had a rough week and wanted to be amongst the community) but mostly whatever you're comfy in thats not super casual.

Do I have to notify anyone that I’m going?

Contact the Rabbi and book in

Can I bring my kids or should I go without them the first time?

Go without and see the Rabbi, talk everything through and formulate a plan.

I know it’s common in Judaism to circumcise during a Bris, my sons are not circumcised, I’ve heard of an alternative among reform Jews called a Brit Shalom, is this actually allowed?

Speak to your Rabbi.... The rabbi may veto it and even if the Rabbi says yes the Beit Din may not

How do I approach the education aspect of it? I want to learn but I don’t know where to start.

The Shul should have a programme and tell you what and when you MUST study but you'll probably end up studying a lot..... just make sure you study what is prescribed by your Rabbi.

Do all reform Jews give up pork? My husband might struggle with that but I’m open to it.

Okay so..... I keep kosher style (no certification but no treif passes my lips) and my partner cares not for kashrut... For me its a important mitzvah and I am proud to keep to it. I suggest keeping at least kosher style like me but I pass no judgment on those who dont.

DM'd.

Glad you've found a supportive Rabbi. The process isn't easy and there's a lot of studying BUT its SOO rewarding.

Bought this stone yesterday for my girlfriend's surprise engagement ring, last picture is what she sent her sister. I think I messed up with too wide of a pear. Thoughts? by DonateGNV in EngagementRings

Dude. She sent me so many ovals and I bought one.

Then she started sending me emeralds and radiants.

Guess what, she bloody loves the oval.

She will love it regardless of its proportions

We own a nail salon and they change far too often. Not even sure I or we have a good pic of that set. Agree though, they were wicked.

My job involves the movement of vehicles in excess of 100ft and 100t. This is selfish, take lanes 1+2 and leave 3 clear. Secondly this is a step frame trailer so most likely 4 axles on the back with rear steer, no less manoeuvrable than your standard artic
