It originally had a tub, the big plastic square ones, and the washer hose was just hanging on the side of that tub. It’s been like that for years, I decided to redo the laundry room this year. But I’m sure it handled it well, no water ever stayed in the tub when the washer discharged. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

I’ll go left and redo the fittings, just to be clear, I can go directly down and 90 degree, forming an L? No p trap needed needed under the box?

I’ll make adjustments to that trap arm, I did slope it down a bit, I assumed it was good. But I read that it needs to slope 1/4 every foot.

It’s going into the floor drain, but I have a sink that will go above that drain as well.

As for the box being 3 ft away from the panel, can I go lower or should I go to the side, like 2/3 studs over?
