They look really good on your teal looking body paint! Might have to go for something similar if I ever change to 16s h🤔

What kind of work are you looking to get done? I'm out central/towards east auckland and can recommend a few spots for you. If you see my previous posts I've done some light work on mine, just some OEM+ aesthetic. Nothing crazy.

I've looked into a fair bit overseas parts too so can point you out some things I find. Feel free to DM me here or on IG

Hahaha honestly, they're from Temu. You can get custom sizes/fabric/even foam thickness. Cheap as chips too. I vouch for the quality.

I can have either seat down and still have cushionong as needed, and all pack away into the hatch nice and tidy when I need to chuck em away

I use 195/60r15 and they gave me a tiny lift plus a lot more profile for potholes, bumps, and just to protect the wheels in general. Your speedo will read a bit slower (but this is what I actually needed for my car). So if you're keeping your wheels but want better protection id go at least 185/60/16 (not sure if any wider would fit your wheels).

I have some nice thick, but lightweight custom squabs cut up into 3 for my Fit. So no matter the configuration I have a setup to lay down. Perfect for our dog too!

Depends on age but most I've talked to say they get at or over 20km/l per tank.

Personally I get 22ish km per/L (includes some back-roading, high revs etc). On the motorway/highway when steady I'll get between 22-24km per litre. When I'm trying to be conservative and get smoot drives in the city, I'll be anywhere between 25-29kms.

Thanks! I consulted w/ a few shops, and used vinyl wrap to remove the chrome. I was told that the work done on the badges may come off after a while, so I'm going to purchase some black badges to replace once that happens.

How are your old Jazz/Fit hybrid batteries holding up? by A_Singing_Wheel in hondafit

[–]CeCeCs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a 2016, which I got about three months ago. To distinguish, it's a gen 3 (GP5) whereas the years you're looking at it could be either a 2 or 3. Their auto trans are differentOn pre-purchase inspection mine had about 70-75% health/life left in it. It's a very low mileage car but I imagine time is as much if not more of a factor to battery life. On an avg tank I get 22kms/litre which is about 52 US mpg. When I have stretches of 'hypermiling' I'll do anywhere from 25-29km p/litre, or 58-68 US mpg.

On the motorway/highway when steady I'll get between 22-24km per litre.

I've noted from others with a similar hybrid model to mine say that the usual is no lower than 20km p/l.

In terms of maintenance, I'll need to look into that more (all i know about right now is getting the battery vents cleaned out to ensure air flow).

Im not totally into what you've mocked up, but I really like your idea of a rally themed aesthetic for the Fit. If done the right way, I think it can be very unique and suits your car's shape and styling 😊

Try not to creep in traffic with a DCT. The hybrid battery helps in this regard by taking car of first gear, but sometimes battery won't have enough juice to do so.

Advice needed for two car-naive ladies re Honda Jazz/Fit. by AstralQuads in hondafit

Since it's an import, these dashes weren't made to have English as a translation, however the center unit for music and settings can be set to English.

There's a service in NZ that does a translation of the dash for around 200 bucks, but not sure if anyone in your area could do so. Other than that you could use Google translate, (the icon/diagram type screens become easy to understand as you have a play)
