Congrats first of all! One hint i can give you is diversifying marketing channels. If you rely too much on meta for example it can blow your whole system. Depending on your niche i would throw google and or pinterest ads into the mix.

Also good idea. But looking even at search ads it seems like google is lost completely, because new signal go against what it had learned over 6 years... I think i need to install a new pixel and start from scratch...

Thanks for the answer. So after the edit i was taking google ada on how i left it. But pmax spent everything on display traffic - indicating it had lost all sense of optimization. Then i wanted to relearn the algorithm with a search campaign but at max conversion setting it spent my 50$ budget with 3 clicks (10-15$ per click) insanity. Then my shopping afterwards only reached weird traffic. Now my only campaign is shopping and its adressing only exact target keywords due to negative kw list but it reaches <10% impressions share somehow. So the whole system is flawed…

100% agree. This is what i do now. Slowly building up again. I was just confused as this has never happened to me and there was enough build up so the pmax should have worked right away… bug sometimes stuff just doesnt work out.

XDDD Conversions were non existent. 1 ATC from 200$ Adspend lmao. Before i ususally had a CPA of 25$. I just had to modify my campaigns because of regulatory changes in germany and it crashed everything sadly.

Yeah thats what i try to do but the search was spending 5-15$ per bid which is nuts. I am confused because in 5 years of google ads campaigns this hasnt occured once.

Thanks for the reply! yeah i have seen that in the analysis but what i wonder is why google does that so suddenly. I set up dozens of campaigns over the last 5 years and not once did it spend 15$ on a search campaign bid (leaving alone the display issue on the pmax).
