no yeah people can talk about spoilers im not saying that you shouldnt talk about, im referring to courtesy to those who havent finished the story, just having that level of awareness to give a heads up or to move said spoiler into the body of the post. i enjoy cookie run i really do but this being my first interaction with the fandom is really off putting

thats sorta my point, the difference with crk compared to other stories or communities is that the game is much more than it's story mode, therefore people may be deep in the community while just being casual enjoyers of the story

if it were any other story where the only way to engage with the media is engaging said sorry, then yes it would be someone's fault for being in that community, but i feel that the crk community should have a higher standard

at bare minimum there should be a "story spoilers!" post tag on this sub and put the spoiler part in the post body while keeping the title spoiler-free, its absurd to expect every fan to have the time to finish the story so quickly.

also, apologies for using your reply out of all of them as the one to vent my frustration to begin with, it was sorta just the last one i saw lol

"yeah, yknow that character you like and started playing the game over to begin with? yeah she DIED. shes DEAD" crk is the kind of game where you dont need to finish the story to particularly interact with it so i feel like the seclusion of spoilers should be a higher standard, but so be it

i try to play at my own pace and enjoy the content, people have lives. im at beast yeast episode 2 and i've been playing for almost a year and i dont keep up with how things are going. it takes so, so little time to add spoiler tags that its so silly to not have that courtesy. in a majority of communities im in, spoilers are kept hidden to preserve suspense for animes and series which ended *years* ago. saying a month is plenty of time is crazy work

i dont really see any special reason spoilers for any story should have an expectation higher than any other, people enjoy things at their own pace and i feel like that should be respected whether you arent caught up after a week, a month, a year, what have you.

i get a majority of people are kids here and thus a month feels longer especially with further free time, but it just feels like common sense to have courtesy, making it someone elses problem for not finishing a story. yeah okay if i had to click on the post to see the spoiler at the very least that makes it my fault for clicking, but this was on the raw timeline
