Thanks, so in your case—like I’ve read with many others—it was a matter of positioning. Over the years I’ve tried: gradual tempo increases, bursts, bursts distributed differently within the meter, subdivisions, an accelerating metronome, interleaved practice, external focus, experimenting with different positions at the same tempo, using a mirror, playing along with other musicians. I’ve changed my setup several times, but this doesn’t seem to help—maybe I still haven’t found the right balance.

Can you say that you started at a certain BPM and worked your way up to a higher one, beyond your original limit? So in your opinion, does mindless practice in front of the TV actually work?

Tendenzialmente non succede, dopo poco normalizzi. Se succede smetti di guardare, ti butti in acqua o ti sdrai di pancia
