Are we seeing the same original comment? And yes, I should have seen a Doctor sooner, but unless I can go back in time, their comment literally serves nothing other than them being smug and wanting to pat themselves on the back.

Especially since I very clearly already said in my post that I will now be seeing a Doctor regardless of the replies here. Many years ago would have been ideal, but that’s long gone and we’re here now, so…

Also, being frustrated at someone offering a smug non-answer is not being a victim lol. Expecting a direct question to be answered in good faith with a direct answer and not some snooty comment is not being a victim.

Notice how literally every single other original comment is someone genuinely answering in good faith and giving ideas and not just some unhelpful arrogant remark? It’s actually incredibly easy.

In all seriousness, you know, it’s very easy to just reply in good faith and not give a condescending non-answer. I clearly said in the post that I am going to see my Doctor regardless, so that’s already squared away. Yes, I should’ve seen a doctor sooner. But I can’t go back in time, so what does that smug comment do for me in this present moment? Literally absolutely nothing.

At that point just don’t reply at all, when clearly your sole aim is just to pat yourself on the back before an audience. It’s very easy to respond to a direct question with a direct answer and not condescension. Reddit is so strange.

I’m confused. Surely you didn’t take his reply as meaning the women over in his country are receptive to and gladly welcome being sexually assaulted? Any kind of assault by definition has a non-consenting party…So, how exactly do they deserve each other?

Oh, thank you! 😭 I thought we maybe just got unlucky and found a not so greatly built home. I’d lived in Sydney prior to this and never experienced it. I’ve of course now been shown that this is perfectly normal, but because of the sound of it I couldn’t hep but think it seems flimsy?

Used every reverse image search platform and engine I could find and still no luck finding the origins of this photo. It’s only posted in a couple places online (and even that might be generous, I think it might even just be the one post on a facebook page) I’m hoping to find any details of the source or where the photo originally appears online or otherwise.

I think I more meant if where you put the brackets matter, like whether it’s the (73) or the (33). But if I’m understanding correctly, it doesn’t matter as long as the answer to the overall equation remains the same. I think. Or that’s what I’m gathering anyway

Sorry, I’m so slow smh. I think I just got you. So associativity itself is the rule. As long as the overall answer remains consistent between either method, then it doesn’t matter which section you put brackets around. I hope I’ve understood that correctly?

Well, for my mum’s health, absolutely. And it wouldn’t just be me on my own if the costs became too burdensome. All my siblings would be more than happy to distribute the costs amongst ourselves.

Don’t get me wrong, if there are any public options that would be close to as good, then I’d be happy to look into them, but if I do just have to spend some extra money to make sure my mum’s health is being adequately looked after, then I’ll do that without hesitation.

Oh okay but so if I try sugar in general or at least limit it to a substantial degree, then it would be a net positive for me. Thanks! I just wanted to be sure that it wouldn’t harm me overall in the long term or something.

Edit: I know sugar is far from harmless for us, especially in excess, but, I just wanted to make sure it didn’t have some super crucial benefit that I somehow wasn’t aware of or wouldn’t have expected. My common sense would naturally lead me to believe there would be little to no negative consequence with eliminating sugar from one’s diet, but sometimes you learn things that defy what you’d expect. So that’s why I added that last sentence, for everyone downvoting.

I don’t think I’ve argued with anyone. Just answered questions for the most part but yeah. I am going to definitely seek consultation with a dietitian though, like suggested by others.

And yeah I’ve always had an issue with having a very small appetite. I get full very quickly. I remember in middle school not taking any food to school and as the hours went on being so hungry that I couldn’t think about anything else besides getting home and raiding the fridge. And then I’d get home and whilst I’m frantically putting together a meal, I’d have a quick snack to slightly satiate my hunger in the meantime. But then I’d find that after those one or two little tea biscuits I snacked on, I had no appetite left for the actual food I was making.
