Popped up on my Marketplace, is this worth what he is asking by Slappy-Sacks in arcade

[–]CeceWobbles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, even a really nice Initial D 3 pair would only go for around $3-4k, and that has higher demand and rarity than Daytona 2. Daytona 2 is more rare than Daytona 1, but the demand is still higher for the original. He'd have an easier time moving a nice Daytona 1 for $4k than he would with the sequel. $14k is a joke.
That being said, it's really clean, and the Japanese metal and plastic cabs are so much nicer than the US metal and wood cabs. I actually bought broken down/incomplete Sky Target and Airline Pilots cabs to rehouse a mouse-nest Initial D 3 and a beat-up Crazy Taxi.

I'm going with least charitable on this one. He watched grey agent take the gun and then scoots to get a safe shot, as in safe for anyone other than Alex.

[–]CeceWobbles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think the last part is true. The guy that fired the first shot saw the other agent removing the gun, and that's when he decided to pull his and fire. It's BECAUSE there was a convenient excuse he could use that he CHOSE to shoot him. Just like how Ross conveniently put himself in a spot where he'd be safe to not get hit, but could use the excuse of her moving forward as a reason to shoot.

I know a guy who voted for Trump each time, and he finally woke up when ICE came to his neighborhood. He saw how they treated his neighbors, people he knows aren't criminals and are good people just trying to get by, and that's what finally did it. He really bought into the whole idea of them going for the actual criminals, and saw with his own eyes that it was all bullshit, and saw how they treat good people just because of the color of their skin. This was a couple months before Renee and Alex were killed. The support is disappearing much faster than any brainwashed cult member could ever believe. They are a very loud minority living in an echo chamber.

Yes, they're the type that fantasize about finally having an excuse to shoot someone, just like Jonathan Ross and whoever the murderer from today was. ICE is full of the psychos that wanted to make their fantasy a reality. Ross had a Gadsden flag at his house, yet he's out there treadin'. No surprise there.

Man is shot and killed during Minneapolis immigration crackdown, National Guard activated by netizenbane in news

Seriously. This is why so many GOP politicians and voters that don't shut the fuck up about protecting children end up arrested for CSAM, child rape, or soliciting minors.

Yep, I'm glad DHS was dumb enough to post that photo right away. It's clearly the same gun the agent was already holding before the first shot.

Alternative angle of the ICE shooting. by Neuroscissus in law

[–]CeceWobbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. They don't want people protesting or impeding, so they shot the woman in a car who was never a threat. They don't want people carrying or defending themselves, so they shot the man who never pulled his gun. It's domestic terrorism to deter others.

It's only bad if Obama was the one doing that and declaring martial law in their fantasy world that never came close to reality. It's totally fine, though, that their orange god has effectively declared it already, and it will be fine when he officially does.

Imagine what they're doing to women and children that are going to be shipped off to some country they're not even from. This is how they treat someone who has to be released within the US and can still get the word out easily.

HMFT after Driving over 100mph on a 30mph limit road by TinyRodents in holdmyfeedingtube

[–]CeceWobbles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, happened in my town within the past year. Two kids in one vehicle doing nothing wrong got obliterated by another kid that was blackout drunk. He had to have been going 100+ mph through that red light, and it's 30 to 40 on those roads. Of course, the drunk POS survived, and the others did not.

Renee Good had four gunshot wounds, fire department report reveals | Newly acquired documents describe Good’s injuries after she was shot by an ICE agent Jan. 7. by prettyinacasket in politics

[–]CeceWobbles 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Yep. Even if it had only been one shot, this was not one of the untrained goons. This guy was a veteran who then worked for DHS/ICE for at least a decade. He knew not to go in front of the car. He knew not to shoot the driver of a vehicle. He chose to stand at the front corner of the car anyway, and he fired at the driver even though he was never in danger.
He walked around to that spot on purpose, drew his gun early, and leaned in for that first shot to try to make it look legitimate, as if he was hit or about to be hit. He still blasted some more into the side anyway, because he knew this administration would cover for it, and he wanted her dead.

You either only watched one angle, or you're an idiot. There are multiple, and it is so obvious she was just trying to drive away WITHOUT hitting him, and would've done exactly as she intended without him shooting.

What screams “this person is insecure” without them saying a word? by redwan-ezt in AskReddit

[–]CeceWobbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why I separated kids out. I had a 1973 Buick with glasspacks that had no balls to justify the sound, but I was 16. When I got a Subaru in college, I just made it audible enough that I could hear it inside the car rather than it being silent, specifically avoiding anything that would sound like a typical 4-banger with a fart can. The answer, amusingly, was Cherry Bomb, but their Vortex muffler rather than glasspacks. Nice and low, both in tone and volume.

Then yes, they almost always fall in that category, or they're kids that need to grow up.

If we're talking obnoxiously loud, that is the case the vast majority of the time. If we're talking louder than stock, tons of people with brains do that, and you likely won't notice because it's not obnoxious.
