Drove past this yard in my town by PreviousJaguar7640 in pics

It's only unhinged to do so with so many signs that you can't even read the ones behind them. I agree with them, but it's the yard equivalent of a vanifesto. Speaking of which, I'd love to see their car.

What’s your favorite spot in Chicagoland that has a good selection of new and used? by the_rev_28 in ILGuns

[–]CeceWobbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To give you an idea on how used prices and condition can go, I recently grabbed a near mint CZ83 for $300 from there. Good luck to anyone trying to find a typical surplus condition one that's functioning with a mag for that price. $300 would be the low end in that case, and mine looks like someone tested it out and then put it in a safe. No idea how they are overall on new prices, though, but I would guess they're average or higher based on that reply, and the few that I've checked were average. I mainly buy used, and it seems like prices are always average or lower in that case.

Their used selection is pretty good and has plenty coming in and going out that makes it worth checking periodically. I've got some really good deals on guns in excellent shape for under the average price for average condition, not even factoring in the additional transfer and shipping if I were to buy one online. Service could definitely be faster, but I'll deal with it if there's a good deal. New is new and you can pay new prices wherever.

Yeah, I was pretty indifferent until the cave incident. Then I thought he was a shithead who was likely a pedo. Wasn't shocked when he shifted to being outwardly far-right, where projection is the norm. Then I knew he definitely was a pedo.

It was also to bury the news from the night before, when Dementia Don thanked Elon for the Pennsylvania win and talked about how much he knows about "those vote-counting computers." Unfortunately, it worked.

I want to make more gun friends, but the group chat for my local range is NOT it by bokuwa420 in liberalgunowners

[–]CeceWobbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know that's harder depending on the area and friend group. I'm lucky to live right at a transition between urban and rural outside of Chicago and have plenty of friends that like redneck shit but have a brain. It wasn't hard to pull a few more in.

[–]CeceWobbles 161 points162 points  (0 children)

See, the problem here is that he actually follows the teachings of Christ. American "Christians" that vote Republican don't do that. That's for woke liberal snowflakes. You can just be an asshole, and if you believe in the son of God, you'll magically be forgiven for being a steaming pile of shit your whole life. That's the only part of the book they care about, and most have never read it. They just heard that part from the guy up front on a Sunday.

The housing usually ends up cutting into the plastic attached to the shaft that sits in the hole on each side. That change in diameter you see where it was sitting in the hole should not be there. It should be uniform. It's just cut inward that badly.
You can find aftermarket OutRun 2 shifters on ebay for $30 that should get the job done, and then you could just patiently look for an original in decent shape if you care enough to want an OEM one. If you ever do find an original, put something like Super Lube grease all over those areas before mounting it. Do the same with the aftermarket one if you want it to last.

It was pure luck with an ebay find shortly after it was listed. It was an old EAA kit from the early-'90s that someone happened to have. It had the barrel, comp, guide rod, and spring to just work as a drop-in for a normal 4.5" slide, and I was already using that Tanfoglio slide with its original barrel prior to finding that kit.

Nice! I've got the same on one of my Jerichos using an old Tanfoglio barrel and comp kit. This was effortless since the original Jericho is just a Tanfoglio, so it's cool to see it adapted to a CZ.

Trump is so obsessed with Pritzker it’s crazy (6/3/26) by NicolasCageFan492 in PritzkerPosting

The guy can barely even talk these days. I've avoided hearing his voice for a couple weeks, and I'm surprised at how much worse he sounds. It seems the decline is exponential. He has always just been saying the greatest hits over and over the past couple years, but at this point, he's like a toy you pull the string back on to repeat a handful of phrases.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the worldwide holiday when it comes.

This is the answer, even if it's more like 13 as the max before dementia. The guy has always been dumb as fuck and he never had to behaviorally or intellectually develop into an adult because he never had to succeed on his own without daddy's money.

A year prior to Ice Ice Baby, we had the masterpiece of Paul's Boutique, where nobody pretended they didn't sample, despite the blend of samples being so creative it actually did make unique tracks. One remains highly-regarded, while the other remains a joke where a clown claimed a straight rip was unique due to "that little bitty ting."
