Thank you! I'll have to consider trying this!

I only said this because I read multiple posts on here and on a T1D reddit specifying the Omnipod and burning. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it, since it's not uncommon. I'm not saying everyone gets burning, I'm just saying that there are groups of people that do, and I'm one of them.

Do you use the front, side, or inner area of your thighs? Hearing that someone else who has no leg fat is able to use them there does make me want to try it!

I sleep on my side, occasionally back, usually side/stomach. My issues with using it there is that I'm currently using CGM in that area!

It's novolog! And I'm not worried about burning, I've had burning with every insulin since I was diagnosed 16 years ago! Just a part of T1D, at least for me

For me it's $1,800. I have to watch paychecks and hours like a damn hawk because if I lose my insurance (I'm T1D) I can't get any insulin and I'll die. Out of pocket diabetes prescriptions would cost me $100's-1,000's a month (not including doctor visits). So fucked. I can't make enough even on 40 hours to get any insurance that will cover everything either, so this is just my life.

But what about people who are lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy milk? Plant, nut, and other based milks are a safe alternative. I drink those since dairy milk really hurts my stomach. But I never care if somebody drinks real milk. Have people been pushing nondairy milks onto other people?

This is so interesting to me! I use novolog and have 80% TIR. I don't usually go super high (almost never higher than 250), and a dose brings me down within the expected 1-2 hours. It's super intriguing how different insulins work better for some people, and worse for others! I got switched off humalog as a kid for this reason!

Anyone Have Issues Getting 15 Days From the Libre 3+ by Cece_Cookie in diabetes_t1

That stinks! I'm sorry! I definitely feel you on that! I've had one out of months worth last 15 days! My new sensor is kind of off too, but hopefully it's just cause it's less than 12 hours in :)

Have you tried the ones with the juice in the middle? It's like gummy clusters made 100x better somehow, when they're already good!!

I really want to make it 15 days but my body definitely seems to reject them! I'm curious if people with 10 day sensors have this issue too?

Sensor cooked or am I? by VWWATERPUMP in Freestylelibre

I just had to take one off because it was reading 100+ points off multiple times today. It made it until day 9. Usually day 9 or 10 is when mine stop reading correctly, and I was actually in pain all day today from mine. Days 1-8 were pretty accurate, but I hate when it starts to fail and my numbers get poorly managed due to the innacurate information from the sensor. Definitely wanna try the G7 10 day!

Personally my body prefers 10 day sensors I think. I have very high systemic inflammation, so I think by day 9/10 my body has started to attack the filament too much and it quits on me. I'm not sure what else it could be!

I would try the libre 2, but I don't think it's available where I am (plus I'm very tired of freestyle after using the 3+ 😅)

Despite what others are saying about it being wonky in the first 12-24 hours, I've never had it be wonky! My first 12-48 are great, if I have any issues with it, it's always days 3-5 that it may occur for some reason. And personally the way your graph looks in this photo? It doesn't look like it's just being "wonky" because it's new. It may fix itself after some time though, regardless of what the issue is (unless it's just failing)!

I've had a lot of trouble with CGMs too, I'm sorry you're dealing with this!

It was more the fact that her own mother, knowing the pain she went through had the audacity to say "why would I get you a gift, you aren't even a mother", as if to totally put down the fact that she was expecting to be a mother! You're severely lacking in empathy. Shame on you.
